Savor the irony.

Republican primary voters obviously want the Republican party to change as well. They had over a dozen other candidates to choose from them. Establishment candidates like JEB! and Kasich just never seemed to get much traction.

The Republican primary voters picked an outsider as their champion, and the electorate in the general more or less went along; albeit millions of votes short of the other guy.
