The FACTS are this" Food Stamp fraud and waste IS more than a billion dollars a year. The cost of the program does not stimualte the economy; jobs do; tax cuts do...Food Stamps can keep some sectors of the economy from stagnation...period.

On the stimulative effect of food stamps, saying the same thing over and over and over again without any critical analysis whatsoever isn't really a good argument. At least tinfoil has some familiarity with economic concepts and attempts to use them (even though he's wrong). No nigey the second link was always there and the second article most certainly DOES state the amount of food stamp fraud.


Saying that food stamps, a tax commodity, stimulates the economy is claimed with ZERO proof. It does help keep retail grocery sectors from stagnating and the fraud keeps drug dealers in business...

Jobs cretated in the private sector happen when businesses receive tax breaks causing a real stimulus. Jobs mean more taxes and more real money being spent in all sectors. Unemployement welfare and food stamps are redundant commodities that lose value by the time they reach the consumer and they deplete tax revenues adding to the deficit...this is not a stimulating formula, it's a giant band aid over a gaping wound!
