Real life experience is filtered through a prism of bias, and because no one taught you critical thinking skills, you're not able to recognize that life experience isn't the be-all, end-all of anything and is, in fact, more harmful than helpful because it places your argument entirely in the personal, not impersonal.

That leads to heightened emotions and outbursts, like so many of your posts here.

OK, so the average wages for plumbers, electricians, roofers, painters, landscapers, air conditioner repairmen, mechanics, basically all those trade jobs pay less than the national average wage.

So when you talk about "success", what is that success in terms of? Money? Because if that's the term that defines success, then ending up in a trade job is a failure because you make less than the national average.

The average starting salary for anyone with a Bachelor's degree is $55K/year, which is right at the national average.

All the service jobs you want to force people into don't even pay the national average, and don't even come close to it.

So the motivation behind your argument is personal resentment, a wholly emotional thing.
