"Don't go to college, go to a trade school"

And people who think they are women is based on science? It's like you don't even read your own shit.

It is based on science. Maybe if you went to college, you'd understand how instead of faking your way through it on an anonymous message board.

What's the science behind actually being a woman because you feel like a woman? Be specific. Also tell us how you know if i went to college or not. Agreeing with you isnt evidence btw

This is what you said:

So that sure sounds like you are feeling denigrated, which is why you uttered this sentence.

You're denigrating yourself by setting yourself up to be denigrated; you're victimizing yourself.

You're saying that no matter what you believe, you're going to be denigrated because your beliefs are bad...but you think you're entitled to have bad beliefs, and I don't think anyone is entitled to that.

You basically want to believe what you want to believe and your expectation is that I should accommodate that.

you failed all your english classes in college, didn' you??????????

Again, you don't know anything about me at all...you don't even know how old I am. You don't even know what gender I am. So how could you know what I've done in my life without me telling you anything?

I don't need to get personal like that because I can make an argument without it.

But you keep trying to make this personal, and it's pretty obvious why.

you've done nothing, so you can say nothing. the rest is just projection and deflection

NOW YOU'RE GETTING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck you for outright dismissing the real life experiences of PEOPLE because they don't line up with what you need to believe..

Real life experience is filtered through a prism of bias, and because no one taught you critical thinking skills, you're not able to recognize that life experience isn't the be-all, end-all of anything and is, in fact, more harmful than helpful because it places your argument entirely in the personal, not impersonal.

That leads to heightened emotions and outbursts, like so many of your posts here.

my real life experiences with those very college graduates.

Again, filtered through the prism of bias. You are not impartial to anything when you invoke anecdotes like this. It doesn't mean you are approaching the subject impartially.

The last thing anyone who actually knows would say is that I'm guided by my emotions but you have to say what you think is necessary to make your ridiculous point.

I mean, practically everything you write here is dripping with cynicism, so it's kinda hard to see that as unemotional.

If more people went to college, we probably wouldn't have many of the problems we have today.

Most go to college because they think that's why they are supposed to do.

Well, that's what they were told to do by their parents and relatives who went to college when it was practically free.

The lie that college equals success has been bought and sold mostly by people like you who think they know things they actually know nothing about but can't admit it.

OK, so the average wages for plumbers, electricians, roofers, painters, landscapers, air conditioner repairmen, mechanics, basically all those trade jobs pay less than the national average wage.

So when you talk about "success", what is that success in terms of? Money? Because if that's the term that defines success, then ending up in a trade job is a failure because you make less than the national average.

The average starting salary for anyone with a Bachelor's degree is $55K/year, which is right at the national average.

All the service jobs you want to force people into don't even pay the national average, and don't even come close to it.

So the motivation behind your argument is personal resentment, a wholly emotional thing.

My neighbor 2 doors down from me is an AC repair guy. His Benz and brand new work truck must help him feel better about his vocational choices because he looks quite happy until he runs into a college educated homeowner who thinks they know more than he does.

I don't accept anecdotes in a debate, you know this by now so why are you doing this?

Obviously, I'm going to call bullshit on that and my expectation is that you will provide proof that this person even exists and wasn't someone you conjured out of thin air to help you make a point.

I'm so fucking sick and tired of people creating imaginary friends to help their losing arguments on the internet.

It's fucking pathetic.

Bret and Heather, Jordan Peterson and Camille Paglia have all been talking for years about what a wasteland the universities are.

Gad Saad and a host of others have joined them.

"The reason you don't want people going to college is because educated people make you feel insecure, and you're guided by your emotions."

I mean, dude, just look at the cynicism dripping off every single post of yours.

Cynicism is definitely rooted in emotion.
