Divorce lawyer says men get a raw deal

LOL American men must be the weakest species on earth? England too? LOL Our last election a draft dodging tax cheat and liar beat the most qualified candidate in our history because Americans are so so weak. A little woman scared the pants off the emasculated males and even women cheered the pussy grabber. Is there hope for a nation this weak? OMG what sissies Americans are.

The misogyny that shapes every aspect of our civilization is the institutionalized form of male fear and hatred of what they have denied and therefore cannot know, cannot share: that wild country, the being of women." Ursula K. Le Guin

"Feminism is hated because women are hated. Anti-feminism is a direct expression of misogyny; it is the political defense of women hating." Andrea Dworkin

"What's wrong with leading the way? We've played that role before, after all. We gave the world the secret ballot... that did so much to raise living standards and improve conditions for workers worldwide. We were a leader in extending to women the right to vote. We were barely a nation when we set the bar for bravery and sacrifice by common soldiers in foreign wars. We grew up out of racism and misogyny and homophobia to become a mostly tolerant, successful multicultural society. We did these great things because we know we are in it together. It is our core value as Australians [Americans would pee their pants]." Geraldine Brooks
Fuck me rigid, anyone that quotes Andrea Dworkin is a mega arsehole in my book. Let's see a few more gems from the fat slag!!

Marriage as an institution developed from rape as a practice.

I want to see a man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high-heel shoved in his mouth, like an apple in the mouth of a pig.

We've had a male rep lawfirm in our town for decades. Men often do get the worse deal in a divorce. It's often only a fair way to right a ship that was listing in men's favor throughout the partnership. I have no problem with mom being the preferred custodial parent of a minor kid, and therefore her getting the primary dwelling. That's going to seem raw deal to some men, but it's the right thing to do for the kids.
Bullshit on steroids.

Sometimes men get a raw deal.

Sometimes women get a raw deal.

Most people come out of family court feeling that they personally got a raw deal, and often they blame it on a bias against their gender.
One reason I don't do family law is that very few clients, even if the lawyer does a great job, come out happy.

Some men just never figured out that you need to find a compatible woman before you make the relationship permanent. Me, I never even wanted to date a gal who I couldn't converse with and agree with most things, Not everything, of course, just most things.

I knew, and liked as friends, several very cute girls in high school and never asked them out because, aside from being "nice kids", were kinda dumb.

There was this one girl, who I had a crush on since 2nd grade and was so beautiful made me nervous to even talk to. That plus she lived in the upper crust section of town and my family was definitely middle class. I finally got the courage to ask her out a year after graduation and I was in college. Amazingly she said yes; I took her to a nice restaurant and our conversation ran flat. A vegan with an opinion and judgemental about everything. I had a steak, which disgusted her. She even commented that my car was too big (I was of course still running my dad's hand-me-down Ford LTD and her family had Volvos). We became FB friends a few years ago and have had several conversations. She is, or course, divorced and not nearly the upper-middle class that she grew up as.

That's a bit oversimplified. Yes, people need to think compatibility through a great deal before they get married - but some people (I'd actually say most) change quite a bit over time. What's compatible in your 20's won't always be in your 50's.

This is one reason I generally recommend not getting married until your 30's. I am very happy I waited.

This most qualified of candidates lost to a nobody in '08. So I guess sexism is stronger than racism in Anerica huh?

That's good advice. I hate to say it, but most people I know are in marriages that I would call less than happy. I know a lot of people sticking it out because of the kids, or because they just don't want to go through everything that's entailed w/ a divorce.

I know there are happy long-term marriages out there, but ultimately, I'm not really convinced that men & women are supposed to spend decades together.

Marriage sort of feels like one of those old traditions that will be phased out eventually.

one of liberalisms biggest blights on society and the american family has been no fault divorce

it has cause more destruction than just about anything else

liberalism is a cancer. It takes a perfectly good cause like civil rights for negroes and equal rights or women and metastasizes them into tumors that destroy the hose

It is if you're mature in your 20's. Libs seem to have a problem that way. lol

Even mature people change, the trick is staying connected with your spouse while you change together. I am a different person than when I got married, but we are both very happily married with three wonderful kids.

My mom's parents were married over 50 years until one of them passed away. My parents, same. I have five siblings, all of us have been married since our mid 20's to the same person. Even though my brother and his wife are libs they were bot mature enough when they got married. lol

Out of my best friends, two are divorced. Both due to immaturity.

Harry couldn't keep his dick in his pants. It's all about Harry all the time. Great guy to get drunk with.
George's wife divorced him because he wasn't making enough money. Her friends were driving cute little Mercedes sports cars so why wasn't she. Since then he's grown his company bigly and she now works for him. She's also moved back in with him but he won't marry her a second time. She does have her Mercedes though.

A third friend, Reba, who I consider my adopted (but nutty) sister, has a philanderer as a husband. He has been very successful in his career until of late. She used to model when she was younger so you can guess what that arrangement was all about. Fifteen years ago my wife and her saw him and our neighbor gal rocketing down I-40 in his car, and she called him and asked where he was; said he had to be at work on the Saturday. I told her back then that she should divorce his sorry ass but she stayed married because of their daughter. I told her, also, that would probably not work out so well. It hasn't, since the daughter graduated (private) high school and decided that she didn't want to take the math portion of the SAT, left the exam and got a zero for that portion.

We have never had a divorced Democratic President.

The Republican presidents have had three divorces among them.
