I was watching a chat show with John Cleese last week. He said that his third wife really took him to the cleaners for £12 million. His lawyer told him under Californian law he got off very lightly. I mean ffs, they didn't even have children together. You'd have to be really stupid to marry there without a pre-nup.

California is really fucked up. I don't know about today but when I lived there back in the '90's if you even lived with someone for 90 days you could be sued for support.
