I guess it is strictly just partisanship for you. They are liberals and Democrats. And the fact the Kennedys help the poor, disabled, voiceless, disadvantaged and most vulnerable in our society, goes against conservative beliefs of only doing for the opulent, and those that don't achieve opulence must be punished so they can see their weaknesses.

LMAO... As i stated, the Kennedy clan has done a lot of good... but what YOU are ignoring due to YOUR partisanship is the BAD that was done that enabled the younger generation to enter politics etc.... The younger Kennedys may have done work for the poor etc... but JOE KENNEDY... their father.... MADE HIS MONEY in a highly unethical manner. It was actions such as his that led to the SEC being formed, it was actions such as his that led to the uptick rule and Glass Steagall being put in place.

Joe Kennedy's actions led to many people LOSING everything they had in the market, led to people committing suicide, living in cardboard boxes in shanty towns etc... but you ignore all of this.

Ok.... as I stated, he did some good things... but the above is a bit of a stretch. You simply cut and paste the above with NO background information on WHAT he did personally. Obviously some are well known, such as his push on Voting age, Title IX, Head Start, Hart Celler. But many of the above he simply voted for. he was not the lead author. He was no a co-author. He VOTED for them.

As for Eunice... that foundation and her work.... how much was possible again due to the unethical behavior of her father and the money he received for such actions. As for Joe... his stupidity helped lead to the economic meltdown. Constant efforts by idiots of both parties in DC led them to keep pushing for 'fairer' lending practices. As for his 'non-profit'.... that is a huge negative for the Kennedy clan and you don't even know why. It reeks of the corruption Joe Sr. was famous for.

Just because I choose not to own a gun doesn't mean I think everyone else should be deprived of their Constitutional right. Go fuck yourself.

What did England and France do freshman volt.

You mean have a violent crime rate that continues to climb? You mean ignore individual liberties?

You said disarm the criminals first. That is not what England and France did. What they did was leave the population unable to defend themselves.

For every shooting in the US, there are two stabbings in the UK:

http://sob.apotheon.org/?p=1323

Gun violence is down in the UK due to less availability, but knife violence is rampant. Furthermore, law-abiding citizens are left without an effective means of self-defense.

But...but.....but.....England and France have less gun crime!!!!! Everyone with a college degree can see that!!! Nevermind Switzerland because with my MBA I couldn't find it on a map. But England and France have 4x less gun crime!!!!! That means we should be like them!!!!

Oh, I see...you can slander Joe Sr., accuse him of forcing people to commit suicide 'with NO background information on WHAT he did personally'...just right wing slander garbage. I provided legislation molded in whole or part by Ted Kennedy and you call it a stretch.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver should be recognized as one of the most important and influential people from the 20th century. Her work stripped away the stigma and ignorance about the mentally disabled and ended much of the institutional abuses and cruelty for people who can now contribute to our society. Eunice and Sarge started Special Olympics in their back yard...it was called Camp Shriver.

We already went over the FACT the financial crisis had nothing to do with lower income people buying a home. That has not changed.

Joe II's Citizens Energy helps thousands of elderly and low income people heat their homes at a significant savings. Joe went to every oil company for lower priced oil...they all said NO, except Hugo Chavez. Is it oil he could not sell at a higher price? NO. Citgo donated eighty-three million gallons of oil, which was used to provide heating assistance to an estimated 200,000 families a year in twenty-three states.

Maybe you need to begin questioning the right wing garbage you spew, the stench has to be wicked...

gay bama boy with the spelling
after he get his NRA nonsense stuffed up his gaylord ASS

Its funny, Topper. You say your wife has a gun, so you (or she) obviously are aware of the dangers in our world. And yet you preach constantly to try and remove her ability to fend off some thug. You, with your wrestling and black belt, might be able to hand a mugger. But how many people in this country could not do that, due to gender, age, or physical infirmity?

I guess as long as you are a badass, the rest of them are on their own? Think about it, Topper. I am 6'2" and a big healthy male. If I broke into your home when you were gone, would your wife have to depend on getting a phone call out and the cops dropping what they are doing to get there in less than 30 mins?

LOL I argue against guns like conservative argue against abortion.

guns will never be illegal and niether will abortion.

I hate guns, not in my wifes hands.

I never said there was more than a snowballs chance in hell of happening.
Shit I'm 51 and fadding fast, in 5 years I may have a gun myself.
