There's a bunch of radical Republicans in jail awaiting trail or sentencing for the violent capitol insurrection. America was already great before Trump ever stole Reagan's slogan. The radical right is motivated by hatred and anger whipped up by right wing talk pundits like Tucker Carlson who falsely claim that America is being destroyed by fellow Americans, just so they can be provocative enough to sell lots of advertising to be millionaires.
What's good for the global interests is good for America because America happens to be part of the globe. The major threats are the climate crisis, the pandemic, and domestic terrorism of the radical right.
