Conservatives never stop crying about the media,

Ah, did you notice I never authored all red states, and where they visit in Florida ain't the red counties, plus Florida is just as much purple as Red, but I'll give that one, now tell us about tourism in South Dakota, Kansas, Montana, Utah, Alabama, Oklahoma, etc., etc.

So people like to vacation on the coasts and in warm weather? And you think that's because of politics?

I think it is about what a person wants to visit. Texas has its share of tourists...for some reason. Also Tennessee and Florida. A couple of red states...though Florida is more purple, IMO. I visited blue California this summer and the number of tourists there is, as one would think, mind boggling. (Incidentally, we were in mostly red counties. ;)). But then there were tons of people in the red states of Montana and Wyoming while we were there too.

I am looking forward to visiting the blue states of Maine and Vermont one day. They're kind of on my bucket list of states to visit.

Not just visiting, living, and for conversation sake, I'm exaggerating, even have visited Kansas, Salina, Kansas to be specific, not a bad small city, and if your doing Mew England one time, start on Boston, rent a car, and drive up the coast to Maine, at least to Portland, only a nine hour drive without stops, so you can knock off three States and a lot of lobster with stops

Montana has a few tourists. About 12 million a year ... not bad for a lowly red state. I'm pretty glad we don't have a lot of tourists. I like wide open spaces and few people. :)

New England, New York are warm weather? And those places are what they are, places that draw tourists, because of their history, attitude, and the way they have preserved their surroundings, all of which has been created by politics

I may do that. That sounds like a good trip to me. We flew into Vegas last summer and drove all over California, Montana, Wyoming and then back to Salt Lake City. Great trip.

Why does Archives never stop crying about conservatives?

The purpose of a forum is to exchange views, what's the point of concurring with those of similar opinions, besides, a large number of conservatives on these forums aren't really conservatives even though they think they are, so it's interesting pointing out what I see as thier confusion

So all the NE's leave all that for Florida because of Florida's history?

What's funny is haven't posted a single thing that you believe.

Idaho draws all kinds of tourists as well

Idaho is a surprisingly beautiful state. We stayed in Twin Falls one Saturday night and went to church there Sunday morning before continuing to Montana. We could have spent more time in Idaho if we'd have allotted it.

There are many people like archive who live in the NE and thinks the country revolves around them and have little clue about the rest of the country west of the Mississippi.

What is funny about northeasters, is they LOVE the culture from California. I visited the NE once and because of my looks and "accent" (I thought they had the accent) they called me a movie star. Some surfer/skater dude. I thought it was hilarious, and I finally gave up and let the illusion run itself.

That's not true, I post a lot I believe in, but the GOP is in complete control, so your the one having to play defense, and with his guy, you got a lot to defend

Every single thread you've started has been complaining. Not one thing you actually believe in or support.

which they have to since their melodramatic view of the world has to have a scapegoat and Obama/Clinton aren't available any longer, but, keep in mind, it was the same conservatives back in the Reagan years that purposely killed the Fairness Doctrine in the media which had been around since the 1920's and guaranteed equal coverage.

Ironic how they so quickly forget, rather ignore, their past erroneous crusades that haunt them today.

FYI: The supposed 'fairness doctrine' was anything but fair. It have a guaranteed voice to positions that sponsor's would ever support....not to mention that it was unconstitutional in conflict with FREE SPEECH.

The reason that liberals want the supposed fairness doctrine is due to the simple fact that no liberal political program can compete with conservative political programs.

The 1st amendment exists for a reason...free speech is just that the freedom to speak freely void of any mandated totalitarian effort to grant equal response to an opposing view.
