Conservatives never stop crying about the media,

For the most part, they don't, ain't a whole lot of people looking forward to a trip to Kansas, Alabama,Idaho, Missippi, etc., am I right or wrong?

For four years in a row the fastest growing state was North Dakota, a red state. This year it was Utah, a red state. Fastest growing cities are in red states such as GA and NC.

The South has positive growth in population while the NE is flat. So you are wrong

??

Can somebody please explain what I was agreeing to for the keeper of history here? That's ok. I'll try. I was agreeing with Mr. Yaya that the network news has a leftward slant and further pointed out that, IMO, it always has...even in my formidable teenage years of the 70's and 80's when Dan Rather and Peter Jennings. Even before the doing away with the so called fairness doctrine.

Emotion? I haven't expended near the emotion in the 8 years of Obama, the most liberal president of my lifetime, that some of you guys have expended in just the 65 or so days since Trump got elected...and he hasn't even done anything yet. I'm expending more emotion over Amendola getting away with an obvious push off on that 3rd down pass play I just watched than I have over politics in a long, long time.

As I already noted, the 70"s and 80"s were accented by conservatism and GOP Presidents, and based on your posts, you most likely grew up in a conservative house, so any criticism of the era was seen by you as indicating a leftward attack

And President Obama leaned left, but was hardly a left wing President, love to see how you would have reacted if Bernie had been elected

the fairness doctrine?? how are you going to enforce that with 100's of channels +the internet?

That's not what's in mind. Television is just dandy as far as libs are concerned.

What is planned is allowing equal time to three successful talk radio programs nationwide.

So are there a lot of people planning a vacation in South Dakota? And if you live where the population is sparse, any increase looks like a exodus. Plus, as the song says, "if you can make it here," those leaving, didn't

he supported Bernie you idiot. God you are a horrible troll.

So you can't respond to the facts that the growth in this country is in the West and South and NOT the NE.

What land is available around me is being bought up by people who aren't from here. I wen to an estate auction three weeks ago of a place being bought by a couple from Hawaii. My neighbor to the east is from Michigan. Great guy. To the west is a neighbor from California. He's a good fellow who keeps an eye on my place when I'm out of town. He ran for sheriff twice but lost. We have several families who have moved here from both Blue and Red states during the past ten years or so. Don't know why.

LOL..are you serious? The fairness doctrine selectively applied to only 3 talk radio shows?
How did they come up with that logic? ( it's some kind of weird progressive thing -right?)

This doesn't deserve comments, it deserves ridicule, and then it deserves the trash can

Didn't know one was suppose to keep a scorecard, and one who refers to himself as "leaning right" and labels himself a "conservative democrat" is really confused if he supported Bernie, who leans anything but right and defiantly is not a conservative anything

I voted for him.

Don't have to, I just explained to you why, and population growth says little about aesthetics, everyone can move to Texas, but Texas is still going be Texas, it's all about quality not quantity

Oh. So why do so many in the NE vacation in red Florida?

I don't know, maybe you're 21 or something?

Conservative talk radio emerged after the demise of the Fairness Doctrine.

Do you really believe the liberal intent behind bringing it back is to balance out the coverage of MSNBC?

Talk about needing ridicule.

I think it is about what a person wants to visit. Texas has its share of tourists...for some reason. Also Tennessee and Florida. A couple of red states...though Florida is more purple, IMO. I visited blue California this summer and the number of tourists there is, as one would think, mind boggling. (Incidentally, we were in mostly red counties. ;)). But then there were tons of people in the red states of Montana and Wyoming while we were there too.

I am looking forward to visiting the blue states of Maine and Vermont one day. They're kind of on my bucket list of states to visit.

Oh. So why do so many in the NE vacation in red Florida?

Ah, did you notice I never authored all red states, and where they visit in Florida ain't the red counties, plus Florida is just as much purple as Red, but I'll give that one, now tell us about tourism in South Dakota, Kansas, Montana, Utah, Alabama, Oklahoma, etc., etc.
