What other difference is there? You just said they were going to outlaw private insurance, now you're saying they're just going to change it.
Tell us how they're going to change private insurance and how you object to those specific changes.
dnc 45%
you're retarded and so is the plan
let's start with the fundamentals....once this act passes no policies of insurance may be offered that are not designed and approved by the federal government....
now, what would you say if the same were true for say.....washing machines......or clothing.....or newspapers?.....
Washing machines have to meet govt standards, so does clothing, Autos, electrical appliances, medicine, food, etc.
But health insurance should not have to meet certain standards?
If I decide to make clothing that is blue instead of red, because I think people would like to buy blue clothing, I can do it....]
if I want to offer an insurance plan which doesn't include the government's list of "essential benefits", or varies from their three tiered coverage options, I can't do it.....everybody's insurance will be red.....
Blue clothing won't kill people and cost tax payers money, and it's also not a moral outrage.
Analogy=failed.
An emotional appeal backed up with facts is the most effective argument possible. Righties just about only make an emotional appeal. Lefties pretty much only make factual appeals. The lefties have to figure out how to combine the two if they want to win this battle.
My sister recently got dropped from our health coverage because she's too old. Too fucking bad! Get a job! Who cares if you want a masters degree! If she has serious medical conditions, it will definitely put her life in risk. She's already putting off healthcare decisions because of the cost of going to the doctor.
insurance policies don't kill people either....and if tax payers are buying the clothing for people, it does cost them money, whether the clothing is blue or red.....
Is that your guess?
LOL
You still don't get it. Let me spell this out for you. WALLGREENS. DOES. NOT. SELL. HEALTH. INSURANCE.
LOL. I think they got rid of it because of people like me reporting a bunch of their baseless idiocy. Like the capacity to do this without creating a deficit and while not raising taxes... Total rubbish that even the CBO was able to see through.too bad Obama dropped his fraudclaims email program....we could report that site....
The number of uninsured American residents is up to 47 million and growing,
doesn't that give people who get benefit plans worth $12k a free ride?.....The wealthy who got a free ride from Bush will be paying their fair share at last.
The Finance Committee is also considering taxation for plans that cost more than $25,000 a year.
