Comey testimony, Alright, let's take bets now

That's not obstruction. Besides, Comey already said under oath back in May that " NO ONE has ever tried to improperly influence an investigation" with him.

Criminal obstruction would be when Barry, Loretta, Hillary and Bubba cooked up the meeting on the tarmac so that Loretta could recuse herself and Comey could usurp Loretta's job by giving a pass to crooked Hillary.

That statement has been covered and corrected several times, so that moves you into the category of liar.

I agree. The irony is that Trump and Comey are both in the 'executive'. Trump's his boss and would actually have every right to tell him to drop it. But, he didn't......he only asked questions like, (paraphrasing here) "Is there some way to get past this or bring it to an end?"

Paraphrasing here, "I want you to stop the investigation."

None of that is really true.

it's weird..the FBI is in the executive- but it's professionalism demands independence.

I do not want Trump firing Comey because he wouldn't stop the investigation ( which never happened)
but I don't want the FBI leaking either.

If I'm Trump and Comey told me I wasn't under investigation---yet he refused to go public with it even though there was no justification for not going public with it, I'd probably fire him too.

Trump has been damaged by the Russian craze precisely *because* he's linked to it via the media narrative. And *his* FBI director won't publicly clear him even though he knows he's not under investigation?

He's out of here.

"Yet"

That's crap and you know it.

There's absolutely no justification for Comey to not clear Trump---particularly, given the political climate. You're either under investigation or you're not.

Apparently, Comey was more 'loyal' to the Deep State or Obama.

Nonsense. trump wasn't even POTUS for a week yet. His facade was already crumbling, and information was yet to come out. Look at how much more is now known about virtually everyone in trump's campaign.

To believe that no connection to trump would eventually be made, is a silly notion that would never be entertained by any investigator with the knowledge that Comey had at that dinner.

Comey trumped trump. When the orange buffoon says things like "I have never declared bankruptcy", it addresses trumpco as if it were not actually trump. Which is technically correct, notwithstanding the overt lie about never declaring personal bankruptcy in essence.

Comey told trump that he wasn't under investigation, with the word 'yet' glaringly obvious, even though it was unspoken.
