Cain - Gingrich

Who as president?

Gingrich would be a good Carl Rove, if you want to have a Carl Rove in your administration.

actually, I think it's obvious from my post that I want a Gingrich in the administration, not a Rove.....

as for president, I can live with either Romney or Perry......Christie may jump in, I could live with him as well......I think a president needs administrative experience and should at least have served as a governor at some point.......

I doubt you will get Christie to run, he sees the wrighting on the wall in this race.

I belive the President is a lot stronger than others belive, I think he will do good with the underdog status.

Jarod, isn't any discussion of Cain as the Republican nominee purely academic because Perry is going to be the nominee?

I never said that, I called him the Front Runner. At the time he was. I still belive he is the likely nominee.

Cain & Gingrich have zero chance of getting nominated, singly or as a team IMO.

This is how I see this playing out.... now that the field is set. Once the voters get past the enamored phase with Cain, and realize he is black, and the establishment floods Romney with money (now that Christie is not running). It will become a Dog fight between Romney and Perry. Perry has more support because once the others drop out, he will be only non-establishment canidate and the support others enjoyed will go to Perry 2 to 1, unless the money Romney will have will make a big enough difference. I suspect the money will not make enough of a difference and Perry will get the nomination. I belive Obama beats Perry.

The Tea-rorist wing of the Party has already turned on Cain because he dared to comment on the reports regarding Perry's family ranch lease.

This looks like it could actually become a serious setback for Cain, and just as his campaign was surging in the polls.

Ladies and gentlemen, your modern-day GOP.

Cain is not viable long term in a Republican primary. His 15 min's are almost up much like Backman's were up when Perry got in. The R's had a fling with women and minorities, but now, when its time to get down to business, they will focus on what they consider the real canidates, the white men.

Thanks webbway. Good to see you two partnering up Jarod.

Leave it to a democrat to focus on a persons gender and race... Jarod and other libs have smeared and attacked the conservative women and minorities within the GOP and now they attempt to lay discrimination at the feet of the GOP. Typical blind liberal hypocrisy.

Pointing out policy differences with a woman or a minority is not discrimination.

The Republicans will not nominate a woman or a minority. Not all Republicans are racist or sexist, but enough are that it will not happen. They have to go through the south to get the nomination, dont forget that.

Mark my words... Backman is basically Perry, the only signifigant difference is that she is a woman, and you saw that the second Perry got into the race, they abandoned her in droves to go to him.

Yes, a Congresswoman from a suburb in Minnesota is the same as a 10 year Governor of the second largest state in the Union. That's brilliant analysis Jarod.

WHAT policy differences did you point out? You simply stated that .....

You didn't list a single policy difference. You simply proclaimed he wasn't viable, that his time was up, because he is..... BLACK.

yeah.... you aren't focused on race at all... just policy differences

TEN years as Gov. of Texas is equal to less than four years as one of eight members of the House from MN? She is not an executive, she has not run a state, in NO way are they even close when it comes to experience.
