Buck up, or stay in the truck!

To quit: To give up... Palin hasn't given up. She did what was in the best interest of Alaska. You see, Democrat operatives converged on Alaska, hell bent to destroy her any way they could, and her precious time as governor was being infringed upon by these people who were requiring her to address issues unrelated to her job, and defend herself in court, etc. What she did, enables her to go out and make some money to fight the bogus charges, and clear her name, so that she can run for president in 2012, as opposed to sitting in Alaska, being stifled from governing, and enduring the relentless witch hunt that had ensued. I think it was a smart strategy, and if you want to criticize her for "quitting" then you are welcome to do that, I don't think it will effect a single supporter of Sara Palin, but maybe it will make you feel better about yourself as she is kicking your asses?

"Go out and make some money to fight the bogus charges.."

The RNC just wrote a check for $1258500+ to Palin's attorneys for those charges.

"Asked about Mrs. Palin's role with the RNC this fall, spokesman Doug Heye declined to say whether her fundraising help was the purpose of the check. He said only that "the disbursement relates to legal fees incurred during the summer and fall of 2008, when Democrats engaged in a partisan witch hunt against Gov. Palin. Based on conversations in 2008, the RNC decided to step in to help."

Maybe she just developed a taste for travel and designer duds. :D

I think that was it, I think she traveled outside Alaska, got to dress up and see things, she has the beauty queen taste, she tried it that way and didn't get there, so if this is her vehicle, I just wish she wouldn't take herself so seriously, like she is the Virgin Mary of the Constitution ready to give birth to the new saviors!

And of course, this is exactly why the left is so enamored with every little detail and aspect of Sara Palin's life, right? This is why you spend inordinate amounts of your personal time, lashing out at Sara Palin, throwing mud every chance you can, and constantly dogging her out?

You two need to watch how revealing you are being about your fears here... it's obvious to everyone, you really, really, really, REALLY hope, she doesn't run! You see the potential for something that you can't fight or hope to defeat, or even stay in the ballpark with... Like Reagan. Oh, you'll both post your contestable arguments to refute this, no doubt... but face it, I speak the truth. Your worst nightmare, as a liberal pinhead, is President Sara Palin!
:eek3:

I really, really, really, REALLY hope she runs, with rick santorum as her running mate. Or vice versa.

The second coming of Christ!

Personal freedom, shirley he jests. Homophobe Repubs just stymied the repeal of DADT, even though 75% of Americans support repeal, with the same old bogus excuses. "We support repeal but want to move slowly to ensure changes won't hurt morale." WTF? They've had 17 years to do this. Another generation of young men were born and grew to maturity while these losers were pondering how they can keep blocking basic rights of LGBT soldiers.

A pox on them all.

They only mean the types of personal freedoms they agree with. If we attached it to a gun measure they would pass it!

Why are you two acting like the Republicans control the Congress? The Democrats have a majority, damn near filibuster proof! If you are upset that something didn't get passed, it's kind of 'stupid beyond belief' to blame Republicans! Nobody is going to buy that load of crap, not even actual LIBERALS who heckle the president when he speaks now.

Yes, but you see... AFTER the 2008 elections, the legal shit continued, as Democrats became even more hellbent to find some dirt on Palin. The $1.2 mil was just to cover legal expenses during her run for VP... but it does give us some insight into just how much legal expenses can be... $1.2 mil is a LOT of money for a governor to cough up.

The Dems didn't have a majority over the last 17 years. Why didn't repubs fight for it when they were in the catbird seat? It wasn't even on their radar, and we both know it.

The Dems may have wanted to find more dirt on her after the elections but that has nothing to do with her legal expenses while a candidate.

The point is that she didn't enter private life just to pay for her legal expenses. If she found out that it would be more profitable for her to enter private life and accept well-paying job offers, at least she could be honest enough to admit it.
