Well Lady T, a "fraction" is not a value. It is a representation of value. In this case, "1/3" is a representation of .3333E (the "E" means eternal) Forever and ever, there will be a repeating remainder, and we can never define something that goes on forever. In order to use math, and be able to actually divide things into presumably equal thirds, we assume the remainder, and the subsequent equality. Sorry if that's too much for your liberal brain to grasp.

To quit: To give up... Palin hasn't given up. She did what was in the best interest of Alaska. You see, Democrat operatives converged on Alaska, hell bent to destroy her any way they could, and her precious time as governor was being infringed upon by these people who were requiring her to address issues unrelated to her job, and defend herself in court, etc. What she did, enables her to go out and make some money to fight the bogus charges, and clear her name, so that she can run for president in 2012, as opposed to sitting in Alaska, being stifled from governing, and enduring the relentless witch hunt that had ensued. I think it was a smart strategy, and if you want to criticize her for "quitting" then you are welcome to do that, I don't think it will effect a single supporter of Sara Palin, but maybe it will make you feel better about yourself as she is kicking your asses?
 
I forgot; we're probably just making fun of the stupid phrase because we're so scared of her.

Buck up, means to "get tough" or... stay in the truck (where it's warm) because you're a pussy who can't 'buck up' and get the job done.

I assumed it was some permutation of shit or get off the pot. But, I've never heard anyone say shit or stay on the pot. It would have made sense if she said buck up or or get out of the truck.


So, it looked like the the former half-term Governor of Alaska fucked it up.

That would have made NO sense. The hard work and toughness is required outside the truck, in the bitter cold of Alaska... inside the truck, you aren't doing the hard work, you are toasting your feet in the warmness of the truck, while tougher people than you are outside doing the hard work. Hey I've got an idea. Why don't you follow Palin's model and just give it up. The entire notion of base 10 and numerical representation of value (math) is something you'll never get. "We support repeal but want to move slowly to ensure changes won't hurt morale." WTF? They've had 17 years to do this. Another generation of young men were born and grew to maturity while these losers were pondering how they can keep blocking basic rights of LGBT soldiers.
