Dissolving the district would mean Reedy Creek employees and infrastructure would be absorbed by the local counties, which would then become responsible for all municipal services.:)

This is not necessarily true. If the municipalities become responsible, they inherit those services and Disney starts paying for them. Disney loses employees that deal with them while the counties and such gain those employees. Maybe they'll get better pay and treatment too...

On the other hand, the municipalities may allow those services to remain privately handled...

Disney has been relentlessly jacking up prices at the parks.....there is where a lot of the Disney hate comes from.
