Irrelevant appeal to quantity. I gave a number of examples spread out over years. It is a consistent pattern of Joke Biden's to insult anyone--often vulgarly--who dares question or oppose his viewpoint. The man is known as a "walking gaffe machine."

Hell, even the Washington Post as friendly a Democrat slathering psychophonetic source as it is says that:

Biden is not particularly bright. If anything, he's a thin skinned, mediocre intellect, and his attacks on people are his way of trying to cover that up. It wouldn't be too far wrong to call him an angry idiot.



Satire and sarcasm are both valid ways to criticize someone. Unlike the reprobate Left where intellectual laziness requires childish direct responses--children having yet to learn the subtitles of adult conversation--or one is assumed to agree with a position. It is just one more sign of a mediocre intellect at work on your part bringing that up.

President Biden is highly experienced in foreign relations.

We are lucky to have him on the job.

He is night-and-day better than Trump.

Biden is really trying to lead the nation; instead of seeking profit and absolute power. Unlike his predecessor, his is loyalty is to the United States; and We, The People.

Biden wasn't dismissive, and he didn't try to candycoat it or gloss over the guy's concerns like Trump would with generalities and unfounded optimism. He acknowledged that it was a legit concern, cited studies that showed it could have the opposite effect, and talked about implementing the change gradually to minimize negative impact. He knew all aspects of the issue (another big change from the last 4 years).

Not an ad hominem. Ad hominem is "To the man" in Latin. I didn't direct my comments at you therefore it wasn't ad hominem. If you took it personally, I would assume that the reason was the "shoe fit."

Oh, pardon me. That link was in a post you replied to.

I didn't watch the townhall, so I can't comment on his performance. But from what I've seen up till now, his critics are usually prejudiced against him. Some of them call him names.

I have to say. It has been extremely challenging for me to give former President Trump the respect the office deserves. I completely oppose him and disapprove of his performance. But I had no need to call him names. His behavior was so egregious there was plenty to take issue with. He was a president who presented so much to criticize it was almost impossible to call him out on all his bad behavior. His every breathing second was devoted to ripping people off, insulting people, lying, self-adolation and greedy selfishness. He was an abominable president. But I never called him any names. Name-calling is what people do when they don't have a better argument. I see plenty of posts now of people calling President Biden names. I presume that is a substitute for having a valid criticism.

Name-calling also indicates prejudice. If somebody has so little panache that they feel the need to resort to name-calling, they are also strongly indicating that they have already made up their minds how they are going to react to any news about the person they have so little respect for that they can't even bring themselves to use the person's actual name and title. They are going to react negatively, refuse to see any positive, always look for the worst. IOW, they are not going to be a fair judge of performance. It will be a prejudiced view.

The linked article said the crowd included independents who had voted for Donald Trump in 2020. That is not a 100% friendly crowd.

Personally, I would never have attended a function with former President Trump, even if I had been invited. I oppose everything he stands for. I would not give him any support at all. But I would listen to reports of what he said and judge that on the merit of what he actually said. It only behooves me as a citizen to listen to my president, and make up my own mind on how he's doing. It would not surprise me at all if no Republicans wanted to attend a town hall featuring President Biden.

I noticed you didn't reply to my question about having any evidence that President Biden has been diagnosed with Alzhiemers. Is that because you don't have any? Is the claim nothing but hearsay?

He does not suffer from dementia. He is a little too cozy with big banking for me. But that seems to go with the job. It's not like we elected Elizabeth Warren. Or would, even if we should.

I'm awaiting the Biden plan to deal with them.
Then we can reasonably assess Biden's efficacy as the chief executive.

Well, that's the way Biden talks. I think it's pretty impressive seeing as how he was a stutterer. I've seen a lot of people who never beat that. Gotta hand it to him for not only overcoming what others cannot, but for even taking on a career of public service where he would constantly be called on to speak in front of lots of people. That kind of thing is absolutely unthinkable to most people afflicted with a stutter.

He has always talked like that. No big deal. He's obviously intelligent. He makes logical decisions. And he is a good man. He wants to help people. President Biden is a dedicated public servant. Give him a chance. It really sounds like your criticism is prejudiced and you're just predetermined to find something to criticize, but there wasn't much here to work with. Keep trying. If you come up with something valid I want to know about it.
