How many times do I have to tell you? He was making a "buck stops here" statement. But the assessment that what the previous admin did "isn't relevant" exists only in that world...it's not history. He wasn't trying to "deliberately deceive" people. It was just a simple statement of understanding the perception of accountability.

But, it's too much for you, I realize. The gotcha is paramount. I just had to have called him a liar! I had to have!

What's hilarious is that I have written "deliberate intent to deceive" about a half a dozen times now, and you just noticed. You're too caught up in the gotcha.

His statement was a "buck stops here" statement. He didn't go into thinking, "it's really all Bush, but I'm going to LIE to these people so they don't believe that!" He's saying that to him, Bush's actions are irrelevant - accountability lies w/ us.

Is that the history of it? No.

Will you get this? No. You're the energizer bunny of willful stupidity.
