Not that I believe they are. When you actually talk to the average person, you find that they believe in more liberal ideas, even if they consider themselves to be right-leaning. But they at least identify as right-leaning or conservative.

Nearly all Americans are liberal in a strictly academic sense. They're just not educated enough to understand that the minor differences between them are manipulated and magnified by the only two political parties that matter. American conservatives are almost never conservative on the global political spectrum.

As parts of the country run out of hospital beds (again), I believe that people who do not protect themselves and others against the virus (by wearing masks, maintaining social distance, avoiding large gatherings, and hand washing) should be denied care. If they can wear a mask at their Klan rallies, they can wear one in Walmart.

I would much rather prefer to have many competing parties that are forced to form workable coalitions after each election. I don't wish poverty for anyone. In the richest society that has every existed in human existence, poverty is an intended consequence and not an accident. Think about that. The elite royal aristocracy (I think you mean plutocracy but are just too stupid to understand the difference, as are most Americans) does not belong to a political party.
