The majority of the deaths were caused by gross obesity, along with diabetes, heart and lung diseases. If you want to blame anybody then it should be the fast food industry.

More than one-third of adults in the United States are obese. In the United States, 36.5 percent of adults are obese. Another 32.5 percent of American adults are overweight. In all, more than two-thirds of adults in the United States are overweight or obese. It's therefore not surprising that the fattest nation on the planet has so many Covid deaths.

Americans are obese because America has the best food, and relative to the rest of the world, it's not expensive.
Most Americans who are not obese either have genetic abnormalities,
or else they're are willing to forego pleasant, comfortable living for longer but less pleasant lives.

I DID IT MY WAY.
I'm way too old to die young anymore, so wouldn't I be the fool to worry about it?

Let me add this: having the best food may be the only thing we do best anymore.

The insane thing is that Obama-Biden came into office with the message that BushCo had been too hardline on Russia, and thus offered a more conciliatory approach.

Now, Harris-Biden are of the opinion that Trump has been too hardline on China, and are signaling the same kind of appeasement and weakness that Obama offered to Russia. I can't imagine how that could go wrong, except that they will undoubtedly accuse the 2024 GOP candidate of colluding with China.

I'm not white and I'm not a Democrat, so I won't presume to speak for those people. Nor should you make assumptions about people you don't know.

What I can say is that no one who matters encouraged anyone to mob anything. Prominent liberals (and conservatives) universally pleaded for peace and calm. Encouraging civil protest is not encouraging violence no matter what the rabid right wing media makes up.

Labor and environmental regulations benefit all Americans, not just the black ones. You missed my point. Republicans dismantling them want to actively harm all Americans, including the black ones. Al Gore was a vice president more than two decades ago. Get over it.

Police brutality is not a political problem. Neither is climate change. Neither is COVID. Neither is crime. You strike me as someone who is not stupid, so why have you allowed yourself to be brainwashed into believing that society's problems were invented by and are perpetuated by people who have different political opinions than you have?
