I think that you don't have any money so your expertise in that are is questionable. Men are lampooned in some movies but I don't get the message that "men suck". Men can be funny when they overdo the "macho" stuff but they don't suck.

They've got nothing and are getting more and more desperate and offensive. I was at dinner at a Thai restaurant the other night and they were playing "Tucker" on the TV. The caption read, "Pedophile-loving Democrats .." and I can't remember the rest, but it was up on the screen for like 10 min and I finally asked the server to change the channel. But this was on TV in a restaurant during dinner. They're actually proud of how offensive they are.

The Revolutionaries in the 60's decided that they could not take over the country without changing the culture first..... Old America had to be murdered.

Wrong. Advertisers and the movie industry made significant changes to maintain a paying audience for the next generation. Note that in 1972 TV shows got with times....standard sitcoms and dramas had their characters changed their hair styles, clothing, and started (slowly) including younger characters and minorities who were not just complete stereotypes and caricatures. They weren't "revolutionaries", just the same old industry heads who listened to the younger members of their respective companies. Again, it's all about the Benjamins. Just look at all the "retro" channels on current TV applications and watch some old shows, and you'll see my point.

Now with the removal of the Fairness Doctrine and dumbing down of FCC laws (courtesy of Slick Willy and Ronnie Raygun), everyone can have their own brand of TV and radio broadcasting only what they want to see & hear.

No revolution....the old guard & Wall St. took care of that to a large degree.

Ahh, but diversity does is not defined as replacing characters race & gender. That is the current revisionist attitude that the entertainment industry has taken in the last few decades in order to do as I previously described.

Pisses me off, as I'm not going to freak out because Batgirl is a straight white woman.
