do you have any other arguments to raise?
Some times our rights are not coinvent for people. Its the Cost of living in a Constitutional Republic. How many people are dead in Buffalo?
Your First Amendment rights don't extend to you protesting anywhere you want. For example, you cannot block a public highway. A restriction on not being able to protest in front of someone's house is reasonable. It doesn't preclude you from protesting, just as to location.
Do you think it is reasonable that for a large protest you have to get a permit?
You congress passed a bill that bans the same type of thing. If you think it violates the Constitution take it to the supreme court and see what the justices think about protests in front of their homes.People who protest in front of private residences in Florida can face jail time and fines under a bill signed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Anyone who protests in front of a private residence in Florida can face jail time and fines under a bill Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed Monday.
The legislation makes it a second-degree misdemeanor to protest in a manner that is aimed at intentionally harassing or disturbing someone in their home. Violators face 60 days in jail and fines of up to $500.

Wow he doesn't even pretend. He truly is a fascist. People being thrown in jail for exercising their First Amendment rights?
I predict many people will be protesting in front of his house to spite him. They won't be enough rooms in jail.![]()
Lol you mean like the Capitol Building where people were arrested who didn't actually enter the building? If you don't see the difference between harassing someone at their home and protesting at a government building then I don't know what to tell ya.
no.
fascism is mandatory injections of a corporate product.
I am curious who you think was arrested for NOT entering the Capitol. Please provide us with names so we can see the indictments. I guarantee no one was arrested simply because the peacefully protested.
Ooopss.. You need to drink!!
Freecocksucker believes that he can make up any fantasy and pass it off as truth....just like Trump!
Yet oddly enough you don't see LW governors rushing to sign legislation banning that evil practice, do you? There's a reason why the Reichwing is righteously seen as fascist. This move by FL is a good example. Maybe he'll invite those two gun tards from STL who waved their bang-bangs at peaceful protesters *walking in the street* a few years back, to come down for a photo-op.
sounds like a massive amount of leftists out there also
DeSantis clearly wants to run for President in 2024 but he won't get there by being an authoritarian asshole.
Political extremists are well known to "exaggerate", at best, and outright lie at worst. The political ideology doesn't matter since the extremism is the problem, not their political alignment.
whatever, fuckface.
That just got you two shots. Drink again.
It is only the weak and the fearful who see this brand of fascism as a good thing. Reichwingers here in Michigan have protested at the homes of the governor, the secretary of state, the head of the state health department, etc. Armed protesters even. Can you imagine the hue and cry from the Reichtards if Gov. Whitmer (D) signed a FL-type anti-protest law into being?
you're an idiot.
Another shot! Drink!!
Should we keep doing this until you pass out? Or should we just accept that you are drunk enough to stop?

yep "protesting" at a residence is harassmentSounds a lot more reasonable than free speech zones. Harassment is not protected speech, people have a right to feel secure in their own homes.
ya it's the new fad. more social breakdownsIt is only the weak and the fearful who see this brand of fascism as a good thing.
