You are too stupid to be considered a thinking human being. How was he supposed to arrest her? The same way that Michael Fannone was able to arrest the protesters that were attempting to breach the Capitol that attacked him?

I try to put myself in the situation of the cop in this case. If a clearly angry, violent man/woman was bashing in the front window of my house, should I be able to use lethal force to protect those inside? Should I let them come in through the window, engage in a physical alternation with him/her and hope that I can beat them? Should I call for help and hope that it arrives before they potentially pull a gun or guns from their backpack and use it on me or others inside?

If it was your kid's school (I have no idea if you have kids) and someone was bashing in windows to get into the school, would you want the officer to let them in?

While your reasoning is sound, that is not how the use of deadly force is considered. Nor what is required before you shoot someone.

Disagreed, Sailor. A mob is a weapon. The police had been losing against the mob for over two hours and, most likely, would have lost against the mob if they'd successfully broached the final barrier to both Democrat and Republican Congressional reps. Shooting Babbitt saved lives.

The only ones that call it plain and simple murder are those people that support terrorist attacks on out government. The facts of the case are such that no jury in its right mind would convict the police officer of murder. No prosecutor in his right mind would attempt to charge the officer with murder.

Let's go back to the McDonalds example from earlier.
A large crowd is attacking a locked McDonalds for over and hour while threatening to kill the McDonalds' employees.
The mob is trying to break the windows of the McDonalds.
They manage to break the windows just as the police arrive.
Before the police can stop them, one member of the mob enters the McDonalds.
An armed McDonalds employee shoots the person that has entered.
Do you think they would be justified to shoot that person? Or would you demand they be charged with murder?

That has nothing to do with the murder of Babbitt. Nothing. That was committed by a democrat and protected by democrats. Not Trump.
