"First, the committee's investigation of the broad subject area must be authorized by its chamber; second, the investigation must pursue "a valid legislative purpose" but does not need to involve legislation and does not need to specify the ultimate intent of Congress; and third, the specific inquiries must be pertinent to the subject matter area that has been authorized for investigation."

it's not a fact finding investigation,it's about removal from office -the dems are quite clear about that

There is no such thing as a "committee inquiry on impeachment" -it's a made up term unless there is a vote to impeach
The Dems are breaking precedent on Impeachment both for Nixon and Clinton.

I am stating clearly that this is not a formal investigation as no vote has been had to initiate it. If so, then both sides would have subpoena powers. But the Dems are running scared.

Also moron... pretending this is just another investigation shows what a political hack you are. Impeachment of the President isn't just any old investigation. BOTH parties have the right to subpoena witnesses in the case of an impeachment investigation. But Pelosi and your other masters are running scared and don't want to hold a vote... why is that GARUD?

Garud, like his masters, is afraid to of a vote. A formal vote means a debate on the House floor, it means they have to draft an exact resolution and it means both parties have subpoena powers. No way the Dems are going to let that happen given they know this is yet another sham.
