Mott the Hoople

No, they wanted to pay wages commensurate with the education and skill set needed to do the job. With the ever advancing degree of technological productivity innovations, the jobs required less and less skill to perform.
So now these companies are creating a middle class in countries were labor is still valued appropriately for the skill set.
Yes, there are countries that abuse workers in sweat shops etc... but by and large this is not the case anymore.
Whiny union members just like to point and shout about foreign workers working for $2 an hour or day and say 'SLAVE WAGES' all the while ignoring the fact that cost of living in those countries is also far less and those 'slave wages' are creating a new middle class in those countries. A middle class that can afford to start buying beyond necessities.
Man dude you are completely fucking clueless about Unions. You think Tradesmans are non-skilled labor? You ever work with a millright or a fabricator or a mason? The whole point of a union is to negotiate a fair days wage for your labor. You think some schleep pushing a broom in a GM plant is gonna make more than a master tool and die man working in that same plant? You think he's gonna make more then a licensed master electrician? It aint the way it works pal!
You ever been in the melt shop of a steel plant during a pour? Your punk pussy unskilled ass wouldn't last a minute! You seem to have this bizarre fucking notion that only a "certain class" of people have the right to negotiate the value for the product of their work cause they have a piece of paper that says they went to college. You dont' have that first foggiest clue what being skilled means cause you have none, you've never made any fucking thing in your life and you've never done any productiave work!
You just simply don't know what the fuck you're talking about! These people who are skilled tradesman are far more skilled and educated then you are with your social science degree from what ever community college you crawled out of! I'd fucking love to see you spend a day working with these people, like I have, just to see how fucking embarrased you'd be by how little you really fucking know!
I mean saying bankers and Wall street financiers didn't drive companies over seas that unions did is about the dumbest things I've ever heard.
