AOC passed over So sad to bad

Let them be. Trump will be the whipping boy for the left in the foreseeable future . The right had their fun with Hillary. And like Hillary he's a very poor loser. He will continue to give them ammunition for a while. Neither has a gram of class. I've always seen a lot of similarities between the two.

Explain to us how Hillary was a "poor loser".

IIRC, she graciously accepted her defeat and congratulated Trump on his victory then encouraged her supporters to support the President for the good of the nation.

Just exactly does that make her a "poor loser"?

Or was that just another irresistible opportunity to take a jab at her?

And if you don't think Trump deserves every jab he gets, then I see a lot of similarities between you and the brainwashed Trump cultists.

Even worse,.... she sounds like an ugly little olive oil lookin, man hatin, no dick gettin, wishin she was a man kinda woman!

Wow! That's a lot of projection. In my experience, crazy liberal chicks fuck like bunnies....but it's inadvisible to sleep in the same room with them.

A glimmer of sanity from the Democrats.

Re: "the vote was 46-13". OUCH! That's gotta burn.

There is more than a glimmer of sanity left in my party.

Especially in light of the vote tally.

Good to see them soundly rejecting the extremist progressivism that has been attempting to co-opt their agenda.

Time will tell. OTOH, what is "sanity" to the far Left or far Right doesn't always match up with what most Americans consider reasonable.

Agreed it's an interesting sign, but there will be backlash from the "extremist progressivism" gang. Will Pelosi buckle? Be out?

Yes re: the extremist ends of both sides, but they aren't who I was talking about.

The sanity is in the center and they are the ones who prevailed in this case.

I'm thinking/hoping the progressives are beginning to get the message that there is not enough support for their agenda amongst mainstream voters.

Will Pelosi buckle? Be out?

Hardly likely.

Pelosi has a set of balls any man would envy.

The Progressives have been growing stronger. This was the first election where Presidential nominees openly declared an agenda of gun confiscation instead of just dancing around it as Hillary did in 2016. A second piece of evidence is the impeachment. Pelosi knew it was a loser and a waste of time but faced enough Progressive opposition she consented to it.

No doubt Pelosi can stand her ground, but she's also practical. She'd rather remain Speaker than not. Avarice can trump balls in many people, especially in politics.

. Excuses book and Excuses Tour. I remember she was at over 70 excuses for losing He does. He's an ass. I've always said that.
I dont mind the jabs - he should be able to take what he gives.
I do mind the fake news that distorts and refuses to report on any successes

That's the difference between the Russia loving, autocratic teabaggers and Pelosi.
They would put a rookie in any spot, any appointment as evidenced by their dear leader's choices.
AOC hasn't been in office a year, Kathleen Rice has been in office for 6 years.
Swalwell was a rookie -no way should he have been seated on the Intelligence Committee -he has no background either.

Then he proceeded to be one of the great noisemakers of the Russian Hoax -deflating from China as well

It will be interesting to see how many of those successes Biden will continue. It should be difficult to reverse the deal Trump made with Mexico and the Central American caravans. That was a real winner..

it was REMAIN. biden has already said he'll end it, and stop building the wall as well

You don't think it's likely or even possible that the idiotic, inexplicable, publicly released letter from James Comey about reopening the investigation into her email server 11 days before the election cost her the razor thin margin of votes she lost by?

You don't think that the goofball conspiracy theories by Russian operatives that flooded social media influenced enough people to turn against her that it cost her significant support?

You think that her pointing all of that out is what you characterize as a "making excuses" and puts her on par with that drooling, lard bucket lunatic Trump who still refuses to even refer to Biden as "President elect" or help the transition?

Give is a fucking break.

Just admit that you have an irrational hatred for Hillary Clinton and be done with it.

The gun buy back had very little support amongst the party as a whole.

The impeachment of Trump was their sworn duty.

The GOP impeached Bill Clinton on much flimsier grounds than what Trump was impeached for and the fact that they knew it was going to be killed in the Senate was no reason to send a message that just because a President has broad support amongst his party, he should be allowed to shit on the law.

True. The point being is that those progressive voices are growing louder and their power is growing larger.

It's wise to pick and choose your battles. Pelosi was wise, the Progressives are not. The impact of the impeachment, as deserved as it was, had an adverse impact on the national response to the Coronavirus. Actions have consequences.

Clinton's impeachment wasn't flimsier, but like Trump's, it was certainly a loser. Clinton perjured himself and obstructed justice. Like Trump's crimes, those are serious charges. Like Hillary getting away with perjury and misuse of classified material, the rich and powerful are given special rules and special justice. Notice that none of the Clintons answered for their crimes and I doubt the Trumps will either.

She was banged to rights ffs, running an insecure server with precious little security which was wide open for the Russians and Chinese to exploit, wtf?? How she got away with that is totally beyond me. Irrational hatred, what drugs are you on?

Re: the grounds for Clinton's impeachment, I think you have to view it in the larger context.

What started out as an investigation into an Arkansas land deal 20 years prior, turned into a sordid sex scandal based solely on an illegally recorded telephone conversation by a former Bush WH staffer. The "perjury" was more of a cute exercise in semantics than an outright lie and in most people's opinion, did not rise to the level of an impeachable offense as it took place during a deposition in a civil lawsuit rather than in a criminal trial.

If you compare that to the level of Trump's lies, attempted obstruction of justice and attempted bribery of a foreign government using taxpayer funds as leverage, the two are not even in the same universe of seriousness.

Bullshit, you limey cunt.

Nothing illegal was ever found after an exhausting investigation.

It was all typical r/w hardball gutter politics.
