I know more about this than you.

I have been saying for two decades that America is becoming a Post Christian nation...other folks are beginning to figure this out.
Church was a great way to meet girls.
Most people do not have the time, interest, or inclination to learn the history of their religion or delve into it's theological roots. Soren Kierkegaard made the point that most so called Christians think they are being devout simply by going and sitting in a church one hour a week.
dude, your five minutes with google search engine does not make you an expert in theology......any random little bible school would have served you better.....as Soren would have said if he met you.......most so called experts think they have knowledge simply by sitting at a computer one hour a week.....
I doubt 95 percent of garden variety Protestant laypersons have even a rudimentary grasp on Protestant history and Protestant theology.
You can see that in this thread, where even a Protestant who paid good money to go to some little bible school was largely unaware that Calvin and Luther were foundational and/or influential theologians for all Protestant denominations. Including the Anglicans.
I feel like the Anglicans were a fairly unique, English form of Protestantism because they tried to keep the trappings and ritual of the Catholic Church somewhat intact, while still being influenced by the Protestantism of the continent from Luther and Calvin.

I have not used Google at all in this thread except for one brief and clearly cited wiki source or to cite knowledgeable experts to support and corroborate what I had already wrote myself
I read, I take classes, and write my own words except when I clearly ascribe quotes of experts and cite them

I use both Google and Wiki all the time since my favorite hobby is looking things up and proving the assholes wrong.![]()
Nothing wrong with that. I noticed you actually provided evidence, while PiMP just blustered.
Looking things up provides a two-fold benefit: #1 is self-education. #2 is proving the idiots wrong.
Seeing who actually backs up their opinions with fact is a great way to identify those with a higher IQ, education and/or ability to reason compared to those who can't or won't for whatever reasons. Usually lower IQ, lesser educated and/or mentally disabled to some degree.

Perhaps you should spend 5 or more minutes on Google to back up your own claims. As it is, all you have is your opinion, nary a fact.
PiMP
sorry dude....its all fact.......I have nothing that needs proving......
You forgot to call me a "demmycunt", PhauxmodernProfit.
unnecessary......you know your role......
and you silly CuNts complain about MY language......
You were flabbergasted that I would dare say that world Protestantism, taken as a whole irrespective of denomination, were deeply influenced by the theologies of Luther and Calvin.
Protestantism traces roots and theology to Luther and Calvin. That's a fact, jack. .
