A great first step to ending Abortion!

Could they?

How could someone with a knife stab and kill 56 people and wound close to 1,000 in 15 minutes?
The usual dishonesty that we've come to expect from control freaks. What I said was: "No, but they could do, and have done, even more damage with bombs or even just a can of gasoline." I said nothing about knives. Just look at Sri Lanka. Over 300 dead and not a gun in sight.

Unless the bombs are made by a dumb ass Trump supporter like Cesar Sayoc.

When did they do that?

We know OKC was 24 years ago and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we place all sorts of safeguards and red flags for huge fertilizer orders after OKC?

I remember yhere was even a joke on the X-Files about it; Mulder said he was investigating every dung order in the country as punishment for pissing off the FBI.

sure.....

As a Christian, how come you felt compelled to change what I wrote, misquote me, lie (tsk tsk you just broke a commandment), and argue sophistry?

Is it because your faith commands you to act immorally, bearing false witness? I would argue it does; that Christianity is evil and makes people do evil things while attracting evil people like you.

He's not a Christian, as is obvious to anyone even cosmetically familiar with the teachings of Christ in the bible.

I'm rather surprised he thinks that anyone believes him.

What makes you say that? Is it something you've tried?
There are plenty of examples. Sri Lanka, OKC, The UpStairs Lounge arson attack, the Whiskey Au Go Go arson attack, the Gothenburg discotheque arson. Then there were the terrorist attacks in gun-controlled Paris. There's also the fact that the Northern Territory of Australia has a homicide rate that's higher than the U.S. rate, as is also true of a couple of Canadian provinces. Gun control doesn't solve anything. Culture is far more important.

People use guns to kill, do they not?

The very reason for guns is to violate the sanctity of life, not defend it.
Your belief, and that of many control freaks, appears to be that life isn't worth defending. Guns are an equaliser. They enable the weak to defend themselves against the strong.
Who says a gun is the best means to defend life? Plenty of shootings are stopped by unarmed people.

"Best" is not the same as "only".

So those are examples, yes, but they seem to be more examples of the exception and not the rule.

Sri Lanka was a terrorist attack. They use bombs.

OKC was 25 years ago, and immediately after, the government passed all these rules and regulations around how much manure you could buy...they would even send FBI agents to your farm to investigate you if you bought too much.

Upstairs lounge and the Whiskey A Go Go was 46 years ago, hardly relevant today.

Gothenburg was 20 years ago, and was in Sweden.

Then there were the terrorist attacks in gun-controlled Paris.

Which happened once. We've had 70 mass shootings in this country this year and it's just April.
