That's an excellent point. Oddly enough, however, the very same forced-birther faction is also against b.c. especially the free kind. Apparently their feeling is that if you're a female, you must pay to play. Kind of a reverse prostitution thing. Sex is nasty and bad, but raining bombs down on ppl in other countries who have only a vague idea of where America even is -- that's okay.

I suspect that's the whole idea. They want to push this up the legal food chain till it hits the Supreme Court, where they're hoping that the recently-appointed Justices will overturn Roe v. Wade.

Removing a baby from the womb, and taking measures to keep him/her alive, is not abortion. There is no reason to plunge forceps into his/her skull, and suck his/her little brains out. In fact, if there's a medical emergency with the mother, that actually wastes valuable time.
