It functions very well as an analogy for your " single data point " claim. There are many volcanoes which, together, contribute to the reality of molten magma- just as there are many climatic aberrations which , together, contribute to the reality of global warming.

There's more than one type of volcano, and more than one type of magma. So what? You produced a single data point. I showed another in the current weather from Arizona. The two on their own are meaningless, and you cannot draw a conclusion about long term weather patterns on the planet from either.

I simply referred to one data point to illustrate the absurdity of your argument. Let's try another;
A fool would think that an incoming giant asteroid was not proof of the threat of other giant asteroids. Volcanoes, asteroids, ' single data points ' that contribute to the overall data.

So? Records get broken from time to time. My area of WI saw a record breaking temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit a couple weeks ago. The prior high on that date was 52 degrees Fahrenheit (a 16 degree difference). Meh. It happens from time to time.
