What I'm claiming, is that the vast majority of jobs Biden "created" weren't created at all. They were the result of the economy reopening after the disastrous Chinese disease lockdowns--that were far worse in Blue states. So, I'd say his policy on the economy has been pretty run-of-the-mill and in many sectors he's slammed the US economy pretty hard. Most of that comes from the regulatory excesses he's allowed to be foisted on it.
Would our overlords straight up lie about jobs numbers? Of course they would, just look at all of the lies that they have already told.
Clinton was far more politically savvy than Obama or Biden.
So, he'd demand and they'd stonewall. It created a train wreck, but hardly one of Trump's making alone.
Remember too that the Jan jobs number will likely still be being readjusted three month from now.
Generally, it adjusts up.
Clinton failed to improve health coverage, but Obama did get Obamacare passed. It was mainly Biden who had the political savvy to get Obamacare passed, when no one thought it was possible. There are different types of political savvy, but Biden is one of the greatest experts on getting things through Congress.
Will Biden have the political savvy that Clinton and Biden had to get reelected? Only time will tell.
Democrats were eager to keep America from collapsing, so were very willing to work with trump. trump always had trouble delivering the Republican votes needed, because he was just lazy. he would be scheduled to call Republicans, and then just not do it. It is not like he would actually meet with them in person.
And, since then all Obamacare has done is limit choices on coverage, raise the cost of that coverage, and do nothing to insure all Americans as promised. Today there are just as many Americans without health insurance as there were when Obamacare passed. The only thing it has done is add more government meddling and interference in the marketplace unnecessarily.
True. But I don't think Biden can run a shadow campaign from his basement this time. I suspect he will be a lethargic and unloved candidate. He draws miniscule crowds, and he is really rather poor when speaking except off a limited script. You've seen how his handlers won't let him take questions. He won't be able to meet and greet crowds and such. Also, it's pretty much a certainty he won't be facing Trump which means that albatross for the Republicans won't be dragging them down.
No, they weren't. From the day Trump took office the Democrats waged a campaign to shut down everything Trump tried to the extent they could. That Trump is a very polarizing figure is a separate problem.
