And for YOUR info the US refineries buy their oil on the world market and that INCLUDES ALL US produced oil.
And putting a 20/25% tariff on world oil will drive up the cost of fuel and gas driving up the cost of EVERYTHING you buy even more.

My point to you MAGAS is IF trump does put his tariffs in place it is going to drive up the cost of EVERYTHING you buy.
Exporting countries will just raise the price of their goods , including oil, and pass those tariffs on to the US consumer.

I have a question to ask.
Can you imagine the damage Canada could do to our economy if they shut down the electric power they sell to us for just one week?
There are a lot of states that get their electric from Canada and depend on it.
5 or 6 in the Midwest several more in the Northeast , Millions and Millions of people depend on that power.
There wouldn't be any refrigeration working, no computers , no lights , billions of dollars worth of food would go bad, stores and companies would have to shut down , people laid off, and if they did do something like that I would make sure the people it effected knew that they did it because of Trumps tariffs.
I hope they don't and don't think they will.
I am just saying they could do some REAL damage to the US economy.
And again as it is if he does put his tariffs of 25% on , their electric bill will go up by that much or more, heck they could tack on another 3,4,5% on and increase their bottom line.
I really don't think Trump realizes what damage they could do to the US economy.
