You're making sense. "High corporate taxes" haven't existed for a LONG time. In fact, the wealthy/corporate taxes have been dropping for the last 30 years, thanks to good old "reaganomics". Look it up.

Our simpleton MAGATs seem incapable of understanding that oil and gas are global commodities traded on world markets. They also seem clueless about supply and demand. We can lead the Reichtards to facts but we cannot make them think.

And being traded on the world market it will have Trumps tariffs on it and will drive the cost up. They will have to figure out a way to keep American produced oil off the world market so it doesn't have tariffs put on it, we have to import 8 to 10 MBPD and that will have the tariff on it and still drive up the cost of fuel and gas up some.
And if they can't keep it off the world market it will drive the cost up even higher,
CEOs of the US oil companies have said it could go up as much as a dollar a gallon, if that happens the MAGA will really cry, and with oil having that higher price it will drive up the cost of everything else you buy, it is a fact if you bought it it was on a truck at some time.
