18 U.S. Code § 371 - Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States

I believe there is evidence that…

1) Trump knowingly discusses with Eastman and others a plan to stay in office after his term expired knowing he wasn’t re-elected.

2) That Eastman and others took specific affirmative action to accomplish the fraud.

That’s the easiest one to prove.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Is THAT why Trump vacated the office on Jan 20th a full TWO YEARS AGO????!?

See the OP.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It best applies to DEMOCRATS dude! It is DEMOCRATS that discard the Constitution. It is DEMOCRATS that shut down the economy. It is DEMOCRATS that conducted a silent coup (so far successful). Do you REALLY think you can try this inversion AGAIN????!?

He screws everyone.

He's still screwing his fans and they're letting him do it.

Eastman did not testify, Pence’s chief of staff did. You should have watched.

so he claimed it then, rather than testified about it......you should have been more clear......I think you know that his opinion is not evidence.....why do you waste our time......

you know that isn't all that must be proved........stop lying.....

Your second statement is a lie.
no, cuntselor.....your opinion does not outweigh that of the courts.....it is not a lie......the NYT, NPR and CNN said it......the fact you are afraid to use the same words the court did does not change anything.......

"If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such misdemeanor."

This seems to be the easiest statute to prove Trump violated. . .

If Trump knew or should have known he lost AND he conspired with one or more person and they took action to keep him in office, he has broken this criminal law.

Where in the law does it say that?

And how the 'f' would you prove it?

Answer - you could not.

You cannot throw people in jail, just because some judge decides - arbitrarily - that someone 'should have known' that what they were doing could lead someone else to break the law.
That would mean judges could throw ANYONE in jail they wanted - virtually.
