Wrong. It has been discussed in the past but never done. One of the reason our founders created the electoral system is because of their distrust of voters. Voters can do stupid things, like vote for someone who promises them free stuff.

It was a sound theory that one could send it back to the States and hold off certification until we could litigate whether Judges are free to change election laws from the bench creating a system that was very prone to fraud, namely, mail in ballots and unsecured ballot boxes. ;)

I did. I've been watching. So far, just hyperbole, rhetoric and OPINIONS. There's a reason Chairman Thompson stated there would be no criminal referrals. Because he knows this is just a clown show.

The chairman of the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol told reporters Monday that the panel will not make any criminal referral of former President Donald Trump or anyone else to the Justice Department

So this once again begs the question, what's the purpose if they don't have a crime to refer? How have they NOT found one in over 500 days? Curious minds ask questions. Dullards and halfwits say "BUT TRUMP!!!"

It was basically another nothing burger.

Facts: No one died other than unarmed protestors.

The electoral certification went on as planned, be it a little late.

Nothing was burned to the ground or looted, as seen by the "mostly peaceful" BLM protests Democrats supported in the summer of 2020.

There was no conspiracy or planning between Trump and the protestors.

There was no conspiracy or planning between Trump and groups like the Oath Keepers.

The biggest issue here is how badly hurt the feelings are of Democrats who falsely believe that the majority of voters are with them. ;)

I believe there is evidence that…

1) Trump knowingly discusses with Eastman and others a plan to stay in office after his term expired knowing he wasn’t re-elected.

2) That Eastman and others took specific affirmative action to accomplish the fraud.

That’s the easiest one to prove.
