Romney apologizes

Really? So, all of that ^ means that Willard didn't grow up privileged?

Working for the 'ugly step sister of the auto world' somehow scarred poor Willard?

Is that your point?

No, that is not my point. I was addressing your comment. You seem to think that a person cannot be teased if their father is the President of a company.

This does nothing to change the attitude Dems have toward Romney.

His policies are anti gay, anti woman, anti middle class. The independents may pay attention for a week or two, as Romney twists his way through the news cycle.

Non issue...it merely affirms all that we know about him already.

i know it changes nothing about how dems feel about romney....so keep focusing on this...

btw...how are his policies anti women and middle class?

LOL - yeah, I'm sure that will pan out.

I'm not putting you on ignore, btw. I thought about it, because you're such a fervent supporter of the KKK and all that they do, but decided against...

there you go again with the lies about my position onceler....funny how you got so upset when you thought i did that to you.

you're such an adorable little hack

How many freeking years did Romney spend in this prep school? He was a senior in '65

come on now... you just showed us you know how to use Wiki...

Romney started there in seventh grade. He worked as a sophomore on his fathers campaign in 1962. So, as I stated, if you are going to harp on someone for 'getting their facts straight', it is generally good policy to make sure you know what the facts actually are before making such a challenge.

So, first he got 'teased' because his rich daddy's the prez and chairman of AMC, then he got 'teased' because his rich daddy was elected governor....

Damn, poor Mittens had it fucking rough. roflmao

Really? Where do I insinuate that?

My point was that Romney was teased based on where his father worked and the cars they drove. You then made your comment that his father was President of the company so that 'wasn't the same as working there'. His fathers position had little to do with the perception of American Motors relative to the Big 3. Your response of 'his father was President' seemed to imply that he wasn't being teased as I stated.

I then went on to point out that George Romney worked his way up to President within the company and you went off on your 'so that means Mitt wasn't privileged' rant.

Hope that clears things up for you a bit.

I see, you just wish to bash Mitt. You don't actually wish to have a conversation. Understood.

My point was that Romney was teased based on where his father worked and the cars they drove.

Right. But before you explained that it was about the cars, you said that Mitt's rich daddy 'worked' there, which is not exactly the same as you working there, or me working there. He was the president and chairman of the place. The head honcho. That was my point.

Oh, okay. So you're still promoting the idea that the 'ugly step sister' thing had a scarring effect on Mittens, which I find laughable, and that's what I was implying.

I then went on to point out that George Romney worked his way up to President within the company and you went off on your 'so that means Mitt wasn't privileged' rant.

Oh, wow. So one sentence is a 'rant' here. Thanks for the 'thin-skinned-pussies-are-present-here' alert. I'll try to keep that in mind when I see you logged on.

Hope that clears things up for you a bit.

Sure thing - especially the definition of 'rant' for special folks here. :)

Right. But before you explained that it was about the cars, you said that Mitt's rich daddy 'worked' there, which is not exactly the same as you working there, or me working there. He was the president and chairman of the place. The head honcho. That was my point.

Wrong. I stated it was because his father worked for American Motors (which he did... he worked his way all the way up to President) and that he got teased about the Rambler. The fact that his dad was President is 100% irrelevant. He still worked there. He still got teased that it wasn't one of the Big 3. It wasn't as if the teasing was done to hammer away at him, but appears more so that it was his friends teasing him. Which is a difference to what Mitt did.

Oh, okay. So you're still promoting the idea that the 'ugly step sister' thing had a scarring effect on Mittens, which I find laughable, and that's what I was implying.

No, I did not state nor imply that he was scarred for life by it. You simply wish to create that straw man so that you may in turn knock it down.

Oh, wow. So one sentence is a 'rant' here. Thank for the 'thin-skinned-pussies-are-present-here' alert. I'll try to keep that in mind when I see you here.

Ok noobie... for now I will let your absurdity slide as I do like the fact that we have some new people and thus new perspective on the board. So welcome.

Sure thing - especially the definition of 'rant' for special folks here. :)

would mini-tantrum work better for you? should I have said 'u don a bit a foot stompin'?
