Obviously we all have opinions on this... but I find it very hard to believe that this campaign worker didn't bring this to Obama and then to the Post.

It is also kind of odd that the one prank that was 'really vicious'... happened to a guy who is now dead and can't comment on the story.

The guy who worked for President Obama's last campaign was one of 5 sources for the story, where did you get that he works for the campaign or that he is the main source?

Which would a sleazy politician do Jarod? What could he possibly gain by saying he doesn't remember? Unless he honestly doesn't remember. There is no gain. If he remembered and was fearful of evidence coming out, he could simply have gone with number 2 above. If he remembered and thought there was no evidence, he could have denied it.

In what case would him stating 'he didn't remember' help him?

Saying you dont remember still gives you plausable deniability.... Saying you dont remember gives guys like you one last footing to pretend it did not happen... Romney tried to do both option 1 and option 2. A slezy polititian would say both!

The story is only in the news still because Rmoney decided it was a good idea to trot out his old buddies as a testament to his character and the right-wing freakshow decided that the real problem in all this is that people that Rmoney went to school with and that witnesses his collosal dickishness turned out, egads!, to be Democrats.

This does nothing to change the attitude Dems have toward Romney.

His policies are anti gay, anti woman, anti middle class. The independents may pay attention for a week or two, as Romney twists his way through the news cycle.

Non issue...it merely affirms all that we know about him already.
