Yes. Can we cut off his gov't. salary because he was driving drunk?

This man "...is a sponsor of a bill that would implement random yearly drug testing for welfare recipients. According to the bill, anyone who failed such test would be cut off from public assistance. In response to this proposal, Democratic state Rep. Scott Holcomb submitted legislation that would instead require all state lawmakers to undergo random drug testing."

drug testing and drinking are the same? he does not support denying benefits for a DUI, rather, for using illegal substances.

you're confusing bias with hypocrisy. had he said those with a DUI conviction canot get benefits, then yes, he would be a hypocrite. being against certain drugs and not others is not hypocrisy, it is simply bias. i suggest you look up hypocrisy.

he simply for the belief that those who do illegal drugs, should not recieve benefits. he is not saying those who break any law should not recieve benefits. thus, there is no hypocrisy.

let me help dune understand the concept:

X is against marijuana being legal, however, X is for alcohol being legal. this is not hypocrisy, as the two drugs are not the same. it is, however, ignorant bias as to marijuana.

i hope that clears things up.
