Christine O'Donnell walks out on CNN's Piers Morgan

Nope, they both looked silly for being afraid to answer legit questions.

if they agreed to not discuss that in that particular interview, then the question was not legit. but i agree, she looked extremely silly and weak for walking away. she could have done what most politicians do and just ignore or answer the question in a way that doesn't address the question at all.

If that was agreed upon, you are correct, but we have no indication of that!

Saying the masterbation is adultry is.

In the 1970s, Jimmy Carter did an interview with Playboy.. that was controversial enough, but in the interview, he revealed that he felt it was akin to adultery to "lust in your heart" for another woman. Forget masturbation... just the act of THINKING about someone other than your wife in that way, was a sin, according to Brother Jimmy. Now you pinheads hold Carter up as some sort of Liberal God Icon... is he a wacko too?

Didn't Jimmy Carter get that from the bible though?

"Yea as you mow your lawn do not lust after your neighbor's wife's ass or i shall surely smite thee in the peen"

I'm pretty sure. I'm no expert though.

If you watch the interview he was not suggesting that it advice to others, it was his own personal position. (Still wacko to me) THat is a lot better than trying to push that onto others.

i watched it on tv and she indicated this was the case, that is why she walked out. watch the video

I must have missed that part, but if you are correct it was bad form of Morgan to ask the question.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

So AFTER the interview, O'Donnell claims that she "had an agreement" with Morgan to NOT discuss her wacko sexual views...

Oh yeah, you can trust her...she wouldn't lie in order to cover her ass!

This is the problem with so many politicians today...they have gotten so used to only being interviewed by "friendly" reporters asking questions from a pre-prepared list that they can't handle having to think on their feet and answer spontaneously.

The fact is, a reporter may ask ANY QUESTION THEY LIKE during an interview and if the interviewee doesn't like being confronted with that possibility, then don't do the interview.

wrong again. she said DURING the interview that this wasn't part of the agreed upon format or something like that. you're completely ignorant if you believe reporters/news stations never agree to certain questions or agree that some questions are off topic. it happens all the time. politicians have told reporters before that certain subjects were off topic. i remember tiger woods agreed to be interviewed by numerous press on the condition they wouldn't bring up the affairs.

you've proven once again how little you know. i'm also not surprised you aren't calling out the dem who walked out. you're like that, it is only bad when someone you don't agree with does it.

She tried it, several times during the interview including working a redirect. The guy was focused solely on sex and would not move... I can see why she left. If she were running for an office I am sure it would matter, it might even harm her chances to be elected, but she isn't. He had no interest in speaking about her book, only about sex and made it very clear.

I'm not a fan of Morgan's, and I am looking forward to him going down for his role in the Fox Hacking Empire, but to claim that he kept talking about sex is just repeating O'Donnell's sleazy tactics. It's not like he was sexually harassing her. He was questioning her views on gays and gay civil rights which she does write about in her book.

Fair game.

Produce some evidence that Morgan agreed not to ask about her laughable views on gays, masturbation, etc...which are frankly the only reason anyone still has any interest in this bimbo.

The next day, she hung up on a radio interviewer.

She's a lil' attention whore - like Yurt. The difference is that she's trying to sell books.

There was seven minutes of the interview provided above, he wasn't solely questioning her on that. Every question he had was about sex in one way or another, he was implacable and would not move off the subject even when she pointed out what the book was about he continued with a laser beam focus to question her only about sex. Coming at the topic from several different directions doesn't change that the only topic he discussed was sex. IMO, the perv wanted to watch a pretty lady speak about sex on his show, aiming at the basest of his audience. She had staying power to sit through 7 minutes of that.

He focused like a laser beam on her wacko opinions about sex, Dancin' Dalai Damocles. And like any journalist, when she tried not to own up to her craziness, he kept at it.

Interesting that she's simultaneously claiming she walked out because she was late for another appearance AND crying sexual harrasment.

What do you expect from a loser who has trouble spelling 'patriot'?

BTW, weren't you defending her before you'd even viewed the full video?

Now, dance, Damocles.

Okay I can't watch Piers Morgan, I really hate him. I watched the first minute. She does say she wrote about her 20 year old (that was 20 years ago right? or close to it) interviews in which she talks about masturbation being a sin. So, sadly, the question was fair game. Here is the thing though; there are many Republican men who firmly believe that women should not take birth control of any kind. And that preventing pregnancy is a sin. The Catholic religion still teaches that masturbation is a sin. I would like to see Cardinals asked whether they still believe masturbation is a sin, right after they are asked of molesting little boys is a sin, and whether or not five hail marys and three our fathers means all is forgiven.

Bottom line; I would agree he technically had a right to ask her this, but the smarmy smile shows he was looking forward to it and men are not treated this way. Also she is a very attractive woman and I dislike and am made uncomfortable by a smarmy man with a stupid grin talking about masturbation with her. It was 20 years ago let it go already. The woman is an idiot, but is in no danger of ever affecting change in people's masturbatory freedoms. Her claim that there is a "double standard" with con women is laughable on its face though, and a good example of why I hate defending con women from sexism - they never ,and I mean ever, do the same. I frankly don't have the time to waste on them. However since I hate Piers Morgan, I took the time in this one instance. He is a sexist jerk, period. But I will tell you this - he is not just sexist against con women.

Yeah, you got basically the same reaction I had to it. I can really see why she walked out. I just don't think it is significant. She isn't running for anything, it's not like she's going to "suddenly" lose an election or has some effect on any policy anywhere. I really can see why she walked out and wonder how long I would have sat there if I were in her shoes. I doubt I would have accepted the interview... In that she was kind of foolish. There are better journalists to do interviews with, even on MSNBC...

Anyway, I agree with you here.

Riiiiiiiight...she said she had an agreement "or something like that"...LOL!

Did I say reporters NEVER agree to refrain from asking certain questions?

I simply said that a reporter MAY ask any question they like during an interview...that said...if the interviewer does so repeatedly with numerous guests, he/she would likely get the reputation of being untrustworthy and it might make it difficult to book future guests...it also could give the interviewer the reputation of being unafraid to ask "the tough questions" and make him/her a hero.

Journalism students learn in their first year that even though the phrase is used all the time, there's no such thing as "off the record"...if the interviewee wants something kept "off the record" then they should keep their mouth shut.

Why does the Dancin' Dalai think anyone wants to interview him? True, his opinions are just as wack, but, let's face it: he's not running for anything either, hasn't written a book, and is nowhere near as funny as the Prayer Witch Project.

Now, let's compare the Boltin' Bimbo's two versions of why she turned into a Runaway Cried:

Version 1: My flee-bagging had nothing to do with Piers Morgan, I was late for another engagment.

"We had already gone over our time limit and were late for a Women's National Republican Club speech being shown on C-SPAN. No hard feelings and I wish Piers all the best in his future endeavors."

http://www2.wsls.com/entertainment/2011/aug/18/odonnell-no-hard-feelings-for-cnns-morgan-ar-1247468/

Version 2: Piers Morgan was "creepy" and sexually harrassed me.

"When they're sitting there pressing you on personal intimate questions and you're saying, 'I don't want to go there,' he could have said, 'What's your mother's name?' and I would have been like, 'Come on, let's stop!' I wanted to stop that borderline sexual harassment that was going on. It was inappropriate and he wasn't stopping."

Jump in and dance some more, Damo.
