Who told us "socialized medicine" was bad?

Irrelevant appeal to popularity. If everybody was jumping off a cliff would you do it too?

And virtually all of them have worse healthcare provision and quality. Look at the actual studies on this. The US ranks in the top 3 for quality of care in all of them. Our shorter life span isn't due to healthcare issues, but other things.

Crummier outcomes at less expense because the government doesn't give a shit about your health only that you don't cost them an arm and a leg--unless it's your arm and leg. It's just facts.

Socialized medicine only works well compared to socialized medicine. Go to Mexico sometime and see what their socialized medicine program is like, as one example. In Canada you could well die waiting to be seen for some condition. Canadians regularly come to Arizona to cross over into Mexico and use their private, pay as you go healthcare for prescriptions, dental, and general care because there's no waiting, the price if great, and the quality is equal or better to what you'd get in Canada.

One example:

No, Son. They all have better healthcare outcomes, longer lifespans, and healthier populations. All for less money.

Every developed nation in the world uses it except us.

Every developed nation in the world has longer life spans and lower medical bankruptcy rates than us.

Better outcomes at less expense. It's just facts.

UYes, I know you're gonna find one guy who's pissed off about wait times or blames the death of his great aunt Sally on the system but anecdotes are not proof. The proof is in the numbers and the numbers say socialized medica works.
Right on the button, Crepitus.

They cannot accept it because it goes against their programing.

Buzzword fallacies (developed nation). Lie. Synthesis.

"Free" healthcare ain't free, Stooge. It is not cheaper. You pay for it through heavy taxes, whether you use it or not. It often is inferior healthcare as well, waiting for months or even years to obtain it.

Communism doesn't work.

it's all of it.

they have destroyed all effective non drug cures.

it's more evil than good at this point.

big pharma has captured government uses that fascism to force-poison humanity.

Preventative healthcare should be paid out of pocket. That would keep the costs way down from what they are. Using insurance to pay for just about anything that's routine is asininely absurd. It is one of the main drivers of rising insurance policy costs. Those home and car maintenance policies are the same thing. They just drive up the cost of those services massively.

People would just stop going for routine checkups and vaccinations. When someone comes up with a preventable condition like lung cancer, severe heart disease, or stroke from undiagnosed hypertension -- will it cost their insurance company a bundle for their treatment? That's why their bean counters have calculated that paying 100% for preventative care costs the least. No one is forcing them to provide free preventative care.
