The only thing that President Biden did that increased inflation was to help Ukraine fight off the unprovoked attack from Putin. He warned Americans it would happen and explained it was something we had to do to help a friend and preserve a democracy. He was right to do that.

The pandemic impacted the economy to a far greater degree. Trump totally botched the response. Biden had a big mess to clean up and did a very good job of it. The feared pandemic recession never occurred and we were skillfully guided to a 'soft landing,' from which we were recovering nicely until DJT screwed everything up with his illegal tariffs that forced American consumers to pay more for imported products. The deportations of productive workers have further impacted the economy, delivering yet another blow on top of the devastating tariffs.

DJT made enemies out of friends and screwed up the economy.

I’m not sure if you’re doing this on purpose, but you’re making my point for me. In your rush to defend Biden, you’re missing that what I said wasn’t partisan at all. My point was that voters almost always attribute economic results, good or bad, to whoever’s in office. Political party doesn't matter. That's just how it works.

But not all of Trumps tariffs have worked their way through the supply chain yet because a lot of retailers bought up massive amounts of goods before the tariffs took hold and are just now starting to run out of them and are now starting to raise prices.
They held it off as long as they could but now it is starting to hurt their bottom line .
Trumps tariffs have already hurt the US auto industry , They have already reported Billions of dollars in losses, he has hurt the US farmers , Truckers and many others
Trump has put a 25% tariff on auto parts the US auto industry needs too build autos here and then helps auto companies from other countries by only putting only a 15% tariff on them and their sales have gone up.

People like Trump and RFKJr have disdain for experts as they cannot accept that when they think they have figured something out with their "common sense" that these 'experts' can then come along with evidence and facts and say they were wrong.

I have known and worked with many people like this over the years who, once they adopt a position on something, refuse to consider they could be wrong, even when experts say otherwise.

The necessary follow up to this quote by RFKJr is to ask him...

- if your family is getting on airplane that was having engine troubles yesterday or a car that was having break problems, would you want engineers or mechanics (experts) to diagnose and fix the problem or would you want guys like on you the internet, with no input of experts to figure it out and fix it?

we are running the expert of 'what if we allowed the stupid and deluded to lead us', and now people, especially those in red states are going to feel that outcome with a resurgence of childhood diseases leading to increased deaths and other preventable outcomes.

Magats dream of a bygone era they think was utopian while not understand that during those times childhood death rates from all these preventable diseases and conditions we not treat, due to experts, were the top cause of death for people back then.

Yup, that is exactly what our company did. We also played the game of diverting and delaying some inbound shipments trying to land them between TACO Trumps changing declarations of Tariffs on and off to avoid paying them.

As there was so much uncertainty all companies dealing with this, like us did not want to raise prices and so we ate the extra costs, and we did not want to commit to any new inventory that was not already committed to customers, but as it has been become clear this is the new normal now, we have both increased our cost to our consumers while starting to reorder new inventory at the higher rates.

They wanted the right of private business to be able to continue to set their own terms of service and turn away those who would defy them.

That is when Ron DeSantis, caving to Magats who were determined to catch and spread covid everywhere with zero concern for any safeguard passed his law making it illegal for any business to set Terms of Service that would deny the deliberate covid spreaders entry.
