President Trump wants the Keystone XL Pipeline built NOW

The Felon WANTS lots of things that will never happen.
His demented brain gets stuck on stuff and he won’t let it go.
Sour crude is typically cheaper than light sweet crude. There is a glut where Keystone dead ends, and that region typically has a little better price than other regions. We are in the process of retooling our refineries to process our light sweet crude. Our policy after WW2 was to import Mid East oil and cut back on drilling here.

Now we produce so much here, we would do better to refine it instead of exporting it.

There is no need for the Keystone XL, as all oil is traded on the world market. As long as their crap gets to market, it doesn't matter what path it takes. XL is primarily for tar sands. The Keystone already makes it all the way to Texas.
Trump doesn’t understand any of this, he’s stuck in 2015.

trump cannot sit still. He campaigned all through his first presidency. His constant need for positive affirmation drove him to hold super spreader events during Covid. It killed the pizza guy, and a host of others.
Now he's just tweeting anything that enters that static cluttered brain.

What is a 'super spreader event'???

Covid does not kill.

Trump hasn't been tweeting much.

Dumbass our refineries have ALWAYS been able to refine sweet crude. If you had read my post you SHOULD have learned that we buy discounted heavy crude and sell high priced sweet crude. We take advantage of the price savings because Canada produces more than it can use and we can refine their heavy crude

Yes. You are a dumbass. Far and away, we refine more sour than sweet crude. We are going to change that policy. If you had read my post, our policy has been to import heavier crude and sell our crude to nations who prefer it.

The policy changes are a direct reflection of trump's inane tariffs.

Our refines have always been able to refine light crude. There is no need to retool anything. I have family members that are operators in a refinery. They just enter commands on the computer to switch between heavy and light crude. About 30% of the XL Pipeline's output was destined to be used in the US and the majority would be refined in Texas.

Why don't YOU read " everything you need to know about the Keystone XL pipeline and maybe YOU will actually learn something about it.

Sorry but I've already got you pegged as a gibbering eejit, I will ignore you from now on.

Tariffs are not inane.
The XL pipeline extension will not be serving Canada.
