Recently oil companies in the US started to SHUTTER operations in Pemian Basin there in Texas BECAUSE WE HAVE ENOUGH OIL AS IT IS and actual petroleum professionals are saying its because oil companies are expecting flat oil prices for at least the next year probably a few more years.

If you don't understand the technology then what Trump says may make sense. But if you do it most certainly DOESN'T.

Back when Trump told you we were energy " independent " he lied, we were a major exporting country of energy NOT independent, and when he didn't do anything to help the US oil industry the first time they went to him and asked for help to stop the Saudi oil price war that drove over 100 US oil drilling and producing companies into bankruptcy because they could not compete with oil prices being so low.
It was AFTER they went bankrupt that he FINALLY went to the Saudi's and told them to cut their production and RAISE the price of oil or he was going to stop ALL military aid to them that they did, but by then it was too late for some of the US oil companies and they never recovered and went out of business.
It was then we went from a major exporting country of energy back to a major importing country of energy.
WE were NEVER energy independent, and as long as we still have to import electric from Canada we won't be.
That electric we get supplies a lot of our northern states and I am sure the consumers of that electric will be pissed when their electric bills go p 25% or more.
