How would the Religous Right react if the Amendment passed and the principal of Birmingham Middle stood up in assembly and began to lead a volentary prayer to "Allah the leader of all the world", "Allah Ackbar, Allah Ackbar!"

2. a person who performs a service willingly and without pay.

1. the act or an instance of establishing.
2. the state or fact of being established

Can you comprehend where one does not apply if the other does? That it is inherently impossible to 'establish' something that is 'voluntary' or visa versa.

The 1st Amendment doesn't declare that Government is Atheist, and that is essentially what you believe it means. The 1st guarantees EVERY American the right to religious exercise, it makes no stipulation this is somehow forbidden in the confines of the very buildings of the government that guarantees that freedom, and that very notion is absurd! Yet, that is again what you believe the Constitution says.

Freedom OF Religion.... Not FROM Religion!

I recall a parent group raising hell in Tuscaloosa several years ago because a teacher was using "visualization techniques" that were claimed to have been too close to meditation for the fundamentalists to be comfortable with.
 
If the Christian Fundementalist RADICALs are allowed voluntary praying it violates civil rights unless you have all religious participate. Dixtard and the false outrage skinheads (good band name) would have a baby if you had the Koran read say for the first month. LOL

An agent of the Government is not allowed to do the above when it relates to religen....

Well, needless to say, we have come a long way since Reagan.

Social Conservatives are not as conservative as they once were, and in 10 years they wont be as conservative as they are now...

I do not believe our schools should be a platform/podium/pulpit for ANY specific religious faith or belief. I also do not think our schools should be scoured of anything pertaining to religious belief. I think there is a happy medium with regard to what is acceptable, and what is unacceptable, and I believe individual communities should have the FREEDOM and right to decide this for themselves.

So are you saying individual communities shoul be allowed to decide what religen is going to be allowed to promote volentary prayer and what religen is not?

Since that isn't non-denominational such an amendment wouldn't cover that. I think you have "any denomination" with "non-denominational"...
