I can't believe the proggies here have forced me to defend a Trump comment.....

I dislike Trump as much as anyone and fear a second Trump term as much as anyone.

But taking his "bloodbath" comment literally is making all Democrats look disingenuous.

He was speaking at the time about Chinese car manufacturers building plants in Mexico and that he'd put a 100% tariff on every car. Then he went on to make the bloodbath comment regarding the auto sales.....

Again, I'm not against the Dems using Trump's own tactics against him or rather using the right's tactics against both him and them, but this is just too obvious and easily seen through.

Pick something else to ratfuck him over.

Nomad...you are totally wrong here.

Trump meant that if he loses...there will be an uprising...a bloodbath. He has suggested something like that in the past...and will suggest it in the future.

He intends to use the only means possible to get total control of the country...and that is fear.

Continue to make the mistake if you want...but you do a disservice to America by doing so.

The CRAZY is strong in here lately. We have had to listen to the absurdity of labeling J6 an "insurrection" for years now even though we all know it wasnt. Those of us on opposite sides cant even discuss the events of that day in a serious manner because we would be starting the conversation from the position of a lie to begin with. I for one wont do it. WHY,...what would be the point? There is none. We all know it wasnt an insurrection,...no point in discussing it with people who care more about labeling something to make it sound much worse than it was then they care about the actual truth. I mean ,...you all know that nobody actually believes it was an insurrection,... right? Not even those who claim it was. So why do it then? It only makes you look bad,...like liars. Same goes for attempted mislabeling of Trumps " bloodbath" comment. You people are NUTS!

Odd...you missed the closing about an hour after the 'peaceful' comment.

'Fight like hell, or you won't have a country'.

Did you forget that?

Obama used the term FIGHT many times

Joe Biden Interview: 'We're Going to Fight Like Hell'

Rational thought is unwelcome in all American political discussion it would seem.

True Believerism makes reality uncomfortable to address,
and unmitigated cynicism apparently does the same.

He knows.

He can't get out of this without egg on his face, so he resorts to MAGA methods.

All trump supporters are doing the same cleanup on the news shows.

With Trump it is always BOTH and if anyone does not see that then they are naive.

His CONSTANT and CONSISTENT use of violent language that NEEDS to be clarified because he does not make it clear, when he says it is red meat for his base. HIs base (white supremacist, white nationalists, nazi, etc) speak regularly about it in their own forums, and it is reported, on them ACKNOWLEDGING, they took the CALL literally and as a PERMISSION STRUCTURE.

It is the same way Florida and Texas and other Magat States are now using a string of vague laws around Abortion and other topics, to ensure those who would do the acts, will be shut down by their lawyers as they cannot discern a clear legal path for them to act, as clear law would give them.

The VAGUENESS IS THE POINT.

That Trump does this so regularly and seems to NEVER put in the simple words ('automotive bloodbath') that would avoid the vagueness IS THE POINT. He wants BOTH impacts. He has learned politicians and the systems of governance have a lot of cowards within it. People who understand the threat his magats represent and who do not want to live under such threat. Congress people, judges and Prosecutors who all having to choose between just leaving him be, or going after him, as they should (Impeachment, prosecution, other) but then knowing they will put themselves and their families at risk, and disrupt their lives greatly as they then need Security details.

LOL. So you can explain how not doubling the price of cars is going to cause a bloodbath for the auto industry?

I didn't think so

Actually, it is the crux of the OP.

trump promised to double the price of cars when elected. Those words came right out of his mouth.

Then he promised a bloodbath if he isn't elected. Which means if he cannot double the price of cars, there will be a bloodbath in the industry.

Provided you are silly enough to believe the bloodbath comment was regarding the auto industry.

It wasn't.

I believe he might have meant that the shift to electric vehicles would create a financial/economic "bloodbath", something I do NOT agree with.

But I'm convinced that only an idiot would believe that Trump was suggesting his supporters would be roaming the streets of the US killing people.

It's just an utterly moronic concept even for Trump who is the king of moronic concepts, but you screwballs are challenging him for the crown.
