IF trump had circled back with even a hint of the auto industry after his 100% tariff comment, Nomad would have a point. trump is always redundant when he tries to lie about something. He abandoned the entire auto industry theme the moment he called for violence.

I'm waiting for someone in his campaign to explain how doubling the price of vehicles will avoid a bloodbath.

Every American manufacturer uses Mexican labor. Not just China's future endeavors.

This thread has actually been quite jaw dropping. What many of the boards left Have tried to do to Nomad is actually pretty sickening to watch. So he isnt allowed to stray one iota from the party line at all and have his own opinion? WTF? I actually appreciate what he did in starting this thread,....he was HONEST. Some of you should really try it some time,....being honest that is.

And you can't seem to find text of his speech that uses the words 'auto', and 'bloodbath' in the same sentence.

First of all, I'm not about to put the time or effort into addressing each one of your niggling, hair-splitting deflections.

None of them have anything to do with the original thread topic, which was simply what Trump meant by his use of the word "bloodbath".

All of your attempts to derail the subject by getting into the details, merits or lack thereof, of Trump's policies regarding the auto industry, are of no concern in terms of this thread and the subject at hand.

If you want to debate those subjects, start your own thread on the topic.

As for not finding the text of his speech, I posted the fucking video in which you can hear him plain as day.

He was talking about how he would retaliate against China with 100% tariffs for building their plants in Mexico to avoid paying Americans or providing American workers with jobs when he made the comment. It was obvious that whatever his EXACT meaning of "bloodbath" was, it had something to do with the auto industry or the economy.

If you all want to soil yourselves over it and make something out of it as a propaganda tactic, I understand that.

No problem.

It's not like they don't do the same thing.

Fight fire with fire.

Go ahead and stoop to Trump's level all you want to.

But just don't try to tell me you're being genuine or honest about it.
