Very few are truly innocent. Suicide bombers are treated like rock stars in Gaza. They paint their pictures on walls and praise them in text books. They parents clap and cheer their kids in plays that dress them up a enact killing Jews with rubber knives and fake suicide vests. Hatebis taught in schools. Most Palestinians have a pathological hate of Jews.

Threads like this & many of the sentiments we have heard over the past week are basically hate for Palestinians. After 9/11, I'd say that a significant portion of the American population in general hated Muslims. There was a huge spike in anti-Muslim vandalism and hate crimes, and we're starting to see some of that again. I don't see anyone on here condemning that, or having an issue w/ it.

There is very little moral high ground to be had here when it comes to Americans making blanket judgments about the civilians of Gaza.

It just goes on & on.

So which do you prefer, dead Palestinians innocent now, or dead Jews in the future. Because that is the only realistic choice we have. I'm not going to tell innocent Jews that they have to die in order to save innocent Palestinians. Plus a Hamas attack of this size must have been known in Gaza. You can't mobilize that many terrorist without people knowing.

You really oversimplify how easy it is for civilians to stand up to Hamas, and oppose them, and change school curriculums, et al.

What are they basing this on? It isn't like they go through standardized testing... This seems to be a bit of a racism just randomly dropped somewhere folks can then use on forums like this one, to claim that an entire population of people are somehow "less than" another population of people.

I get that Hamas = Bad, that one isn't difficult. But just moving in the area drops your IQ? I don't think so...

Most Liberals do exactly that. In their minds, if a person is from the South then they are stupid racists who support lynchings and shooting kids in schools with loose gun laws.

I went to school in the south in the 1960's and we were not taught to hate. In fact there were blacks in my school that were very popular, more popular than I was for sure. :laugh:

You are using Palestinians as shields to protect Hamas.

The Jews can't attack Hamas because they will kill innocent Palestinians no matter that they let schools teach their kids to kill Jews.

I think both sides do way too much generalizing. And most people do at least a little bit of generalizing. I'm guilty of it.

If anyone could spend time in any area, with the people there, it would likely change their POV, regardless of what area we're talking about. People can't control where they're born, and where they live. After 9/11, there were many comments in America about just 'paving the Middle East,' and now some are saying the same about Gaza.

Most people are just figuring out how to get through life, earn money, raise kids, etc. Because Hamas are depraved terrorists doesn't mean that the Palestinians of Gaza are..
