I honestly disagree.
It speaks to a person's character
if being as comfortable as if at the beach
is more important than
maintaining an air of dignity
out of respect to those with whom you're working.
I regard this as one of the catastrophic failures of modern America.
We dress too casually.
We speak too casually.
We act too casually.
When the wrong people procreate
they don't teach their offspring
how to conduct themselves with class.
An air of dignity based on clothing is silly elitism.
Even if the prejudice toward a casually dressed person were valid, is it not the persons choice still?
Maybe a free person choses to be scorned by those he believes to be snobs.
