WWe're breaking down the results of the special counsel's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
As we've been discussing this hour, the special counsel did not find that President Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russian government - that according to a summary of the conclusions delivered by the - Attorney General William Barr to the Congress.
This part here: But one of the key questions of Robert Mueller's investigation was into the nature of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Now you are reading the portion of the report that is about whether the Russians "conspired" (not with Trump, we've already established that the Trump campaign did not collude or conspire with Russia, the report indicates that there was no evidence of that) to "interfere" with the election (as they have with every election since about the 1930s) through "editorials" etc.
Hint: They did. Just like they have in the past.
This was not about Trump at that point.
