No, the statute of limitations start when investigators hear about the crime, not when the crime occurred.

Look the shit up

It as looked into but there was zero evidence of it ever happening so the investigation was quickly ended

The statute of limitations was created to protect people from undo investigation.

The authorities are given a certain amount of time to gather evidence and build their case but they are not allowed to harass someone indefinitely

So what... That does not mean it didn't happen. Trump should offer his DNA and clear this up.

Trump is the epitome of abuse. He abuses everything within his reach. But most of all, HE ABUSED HIS OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY TO FEATHER HIS OWN NEST AND CORRUPT OUR GOVERNMENT AND OUR DEMOCRATIC PROCESSES to benefit himself personally and financially!

He abused his executive power to protect himself from being held accountable for all of his crimes he committed while in office- ALSO THE ONES HE COMMITTED BEFORE HE WAS IN OFFICE, AND THE ONES HE HAS COMMITTED EVER SINCE LOSING THE ELECTION.

And he has abused his executive power to PARDON his conspirators that helped him carry out his crimes.

Those are the current statute of limitations. A rape that occurred in 1996 would be subject to 1996 laws.

Rape is different from sexual assault. Rape requires sexual intercourse in NY. The jury found that Trump committed sexual abuse which is sexually assaulting someone. The statute of limitations for sexual abuse would appear to be 5 years from the date of commission.

There is no such thing as a liberal jury. All juries are duty bound to be impartial and follow the law. Unless you have evidence the jury didn't follow the law, your argument is bullshit.

You can claim what ever you want, if you go to court and offer sworn testimony under penalty of perjury...

You could claim whatever you want, but are you willing to claim it under oath?

The DNA was on a wool jacket she was wearing at the time of the assault. Trump refused to supply his DNA so it could be compared to the sample which was tested and found to be “unknown male DNA”.

Trump could have clear himself by giving his DNA, but he refused to do so.

A jury of six men and three women found Trump liable of sexual assault without Trump’s DNA.
